I'm not sure I needed this battery tester, but it was inexpensive and I like gadgets. It works well at home, but I'd like to see how well it holds up to travel in my dive camera bag. Great way to check suspect batteries without using more expensive test equipment.
I have an old battery tester it it will check most batteries, but not a button battery.� That's the purpose of why I purchased this Tester and it fits in your pocket or camera bag with little space used.
There are much better battery testers on the market. It works but not great quality. Broke apart after a few battery tests and we had to snap it back together.
Not very good
Not the most sophisticated device but it gives good readouts. Handy to use before tossing questionable batteries.
You have to move around the batteries of the contact points to get an accurate read...and have to move it around a bit for that to happen. Sometimes you can get two or three readings of the same battery. Would like to have an on the spot read...especially when checking a pile of batteries
