The 20-60x60 45° Zoom Refractor Spotting Scope from Celestron is a prismatic refractor spotting scope at a great price, with an externally sealed, waterproof housing that's also rubber armored. Viewing is angled at a comfortable 45°. The permanent zoom eyepiece with a soft rubber eyecup for eyeglass wearers provides extra comfort. It has 20-60x magnification and comes with a tabletop tripod along with both a soft and a hard carrying case. Because the scope's so compact and light, it is an ideal choice for using on a vehicle's window (with an optional window mount).

Waterproof for all-weather use
Fully coated optics provide clarity and minimum color aberration

20-60x60 45° Zoom Refractor Spotting Scope Kit (Angled Viewing) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great scope Got this for bird watching.... it's a little tight to find birds in this scope because of it's zoom. If you're able to key in on one, it's great! I didn't get this for the purpose of looking at the moon, or planets, but I tried it on a clear night and was blown away by the reach. I could see 4 of Jupiters moons and the rings of Saturn. Much easier and better than trying to get out my telescope and set it up to see those things. I like it alot and expect to get some good use out of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value A good scope for the money. Its heads and tails better than the $$scopes. Bright eyepiece, easy focus. Light, easy transport.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality and Value for the Price I purchased this as an entre into telescoping. This is a quite sturdy unit for the size. image to the eyeglass-aided eye is very crisp and clear, although the eyepiece is somewhat squinty with glasses. Viewed image quality is so good that I am going to purchase camera adapter and see how well the images record. Previously I thought I needed a $600 serious catadioptric telescope to attempt astrophography. The slightly cushiony armoring appears effective although I would assume the inner lens tube is plastic for this level of item. I paid $77, shipping free. However, the included accessories appear to be worth about the same amount, if purchased separately; so it is like getting the spotting scope itself free! Tabletop tripod is metal-legged worth $20; soft pouch with carrying strap $20; hard case with metal edges, perhaps $35. It came securely packed as a previous reviewer noted. There was the B&H box, Celestron cardboard box, the hard case, then the pouch, and finally the scope itself - just like Russian boxes one inside the other! Also there is enough inflated plastic packing to handle all of your next Xmas' mailing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too many boxes. First is the ups box. Then there is a cardboard box. I opened it and there is a cardboard sleeve-type box. Open it and is another box. The scope is great. Zoom makes viewing easy. Very generous accessories. Tripod. Cloth carrying bag. Aluminum type case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job cheaper than most I use this for spotting on my small practice range. No problem for spotting bullet holes on a target up to 200 yds. Have not really used it for anything else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hubby liked it Bought as a gift. We plan to move near the Ocean & he was looking for something to look at the moon & space shuttle. It's a good all around beginners scope.
