question

Does this work on Tameron 150-600 MM lens?
Asked by: Ken
It will fit on that lens but will it work. I would have to say no. That's a long lens you're talking about. I have used the Pod with two of my lenses, my 24-105 f/4 L and My Canon 50mm f/1.4. It works great with the 50, the 24-105 no so much. The camera tends to tip forward a bit. Once it's tipped forward it's stable but not the support that I was looking for. The reason I got it was to you in dimly lit places where you can't take a tripod, likes churches, that's where I like to use my 50mm. Hope this helps.

I use a Sony DSLR with a vertical grip and most often a 35/105 zoom. Will this work with the grip installed?
Asked by: Bob
The Pod The Green Pod Camera Platform will not work well when the vertical grip is connected, if one is using the 1/4 20 camera mount on the Green Pod platform. But one can use the included adjustable strap threaded through the pod's loops to secure the camera's lens to the bean bag. Using the strap will allow the platform to secure the camera when using a grip on the camera.

question

Is this good for the 7D with a zoom on?
Asked by: Anonymous
I used mine on safari with a 55-300 zoom and it worked well on the top of their vehicle. I will admit that I used their bean bag more often only because it was so much wider than the pod that I could leave it slightly over the edge of the vehicle and it would stay put allowing me to change lenses more easily. The green pod worked great though
