    Pyle Pro PADH879 reviews

    PADH879 300W 8" 2-Way PA Cabinet Speaker is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pyle Pro PA speakers Great speakers. Just what we needed for our outdoor events. Good sound and easy to handle and set up. Well-built, too. BUT the metal grills on the front are very easy to dent and ding, so the speakers should be handled and stored very carefully to avoid cosmetic damage to the grills if you're concerned about their appearance. If you're not concerned about how they look, just go ahead and manhandle them. They'll still sound great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is what happens.... This is a story of what happens when you shop with B&H. I order a LOT of stuff from the big two in NYC, and to pass the time before the UPS man gets here, I like to read reviews. The reviews on these speakers internet-wide were Nice speakers, but the packaging was so bad, they were all busted up when they got here. SOmething about minimal workmanship and materials combined with energetic UPS drivers equals speakers that arrive broken in some way, that people tend to seem to fix themselves, but I imagine a majority howl and return them. But B&H packs stuff, maybe even out of experience and an aversion to returns, but they pack stuff to arrive alive. These speakers serve well as monitors in my juke joint, but they double as performance speakers when we put someone out on the street with the portable amp. For the price you pay, you get what you deserve...but more. I say buy em, but don't buy em from anyone else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from choose these speakers based on your application one speaker damaged due to rough handling during shipping.....made repairs to case to reattach speaker myself rather than going trough the hassle of shipping it back across the border....have noted that other shipments received from the same courier service have also received rough handling of packages ..not the fault of B&H ..but would recommend more substantial packaging especially for heavy items such as these speakers ....as to the speakers themselves the sound was as expected for such low cost units with very limited bass response....if you're going to be using these for music and not for a vocal application you might want to look at a speaker with a larger driver at a minimum at least 10 inches to get an improved bass response...also as noted above these speakers are easily damaged if exposed to rough handling as they are constructed of MDF material and as with one of mine the screws holding the speaker into the case were completely torn out of the MDF board and the speaker had to be rotated to install new screws as the material was so badly damaged that screws of any size could not be located in the original positions...having said all that if you purchase these speakers handle them with care making sure not to drop them .......
