The Vitek VT-PTZ18W-HCO 18x Xpress Dome PTZ Camera with WDR (Clear) has a 1/4" CCD image sensor, a built-in 4.1-73.8mm lens, and 18x optical / 12x digital zoom that deliver clear images at a resolution of 550TVL. A minimum illumination of 0.7 lux makes the camera suitable for low-light surveillance.
With 1 auto pan and 16 scans support, the PTZ camera offers 8 speed steps from slow to medium with smooth vector scan that shows a moving path from start to end point while panning, tilting, and zooming simultaneously. In addition to 8 tours with each containing up to 64 presets, patterns, and scans, the tours can be expanded up to 500 different functions using nested tours.
The camera offers max manual speed of 360°/sec with Turbo key pressed and preset speed of 380°/sec. With wide dynamic range technology, the PTZ camera delivers clearly visible images in high-contrast light conditions.
White balance can be used to adjust the red and blue signals by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. The PTZ camera uses gain control to adjust the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.
Privacy Zone function blanks out an entire area or zone (which is set by a system operator) to eliminate any unnecessary video information from being processed, thus decreasing video traffic over a network. Up to 8 zones can be programmed to output blank video for areas not requiring video surveillance. The PTZ Camera supports 8 Alarm inputs with 0-8 priority levels and 2 Auxiliary outputs with programmable NC & NO.
The flush indoor/outdoor housing with clear bubble is made of aluminum with polyester coating. The IP67-rated housing has 1-1/2" NPT threads on an extension pipe, and offers various mounting options such as wall, ceiling, pole, i-beam, and corner. You can also use the optional heater and blower kit that regulates the internal temperature of the housing and sunshield for protection against direct rays of the sun, making the housing suitable for outdoor use.
