Does this item do hotshoe-to-hotshoe triggering? I’d like to use it as a way to blank off the dedicated TTL contacts on a flash trigger.
Asked by: Kelvin
Sorry, I'm not certain about this. I've used it a few times with a Hasselblad camera and the Hasselblad grip and a non through the lens flash unit.

If one would like to use the Nisha Deluxe Mult-Purpose Hot Shoe, on the Sony A77 II, it is important to start out with a Sony/Minolta hot shoe to universal adapter: https://bhpho.to/2fzXH2k Then one can use the Nisha multi-purpose Hot Shoe the way described.

question

is this compatible with Fugi x100s camera? i would like to use it on top of fuji x100s to fire my Nikon sb900 manually by using PC cord
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, this shoe is compatible with the Fuji X100s camera in manual mode only. It would allow you to connect your Nikon SB900 to it via pc-sync cable and fire it in manual mode.

It says the pc syncs are OUTPUTS. does this mean I can't use a pc sync cable from an analogue TLR camera to fire a modern flash unit on the hotshoe?

That is correct.

Can the pc port be used for signal input to trigger the hotshoe?
Asked by: Brian
Yes, this works fine, and Ive tested it. This is a very simple adapter that just connects the two contacts of each port to each other port. Triggering the flash just involves shorting the two contacts together, which triggers all of the ports simultaneously.

question

Can I use it on a Panasonic G7 to mount a Canon Speedlight over the adapter (to work in Manual mode)?I'm concerned because the adapter has not only (on top) a contact in the center to trigger the glash, but also a surrounding metal that would make short-circuit the contacts of the Canon Speedlight, and I don't know if that could damage my Speedlight..Thank you!
Asked by: AQUILES
I am not familiar with Panasonic, but I use these in manual mode with Canon 580 speedlites connected to Pocket Wizard radio triggers. I have had no problems at all using the 580s with umbrellas on light stands.
