I wish to use this camera and view remotely but my internet upload speed is usually 0.4 Mbps max, Download 1.5 Mbps max. Is this sufficient?
Asked by: Anonymous
No unfortunately, this device requires a high speed internet connection and those speeds would not be sufficient to run the camera.

If I want to get a DCS-932L Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera by D-Link, it says that it can record directly to a NAS drive or to a computer. How long can it record at what rate of frames for how much disk space (is there some sort of algorithm)? For example, if I want to record 4 days and record a frame every 5 seconds.

For local storage we recommend having 1 TB of available memory. That should offer you about a month of capacity at 5 fps with motion detection activated.
