The white PD5322/64 Precision Directivity Full-Range 3-Way Loudspeaker from JBL offers a coverage pattern of 60° x 40° and is designed for use in venues requiring high output capability with pattern control and low frequency extension to 40 Hz. The low frequency section of the speaker is made up of two 2206H vented gap cooled, low frequency transducers and offers high power handling and low power compression for continuous SPL capability. The low frequency loading plate provides sensitivity, low frequency output, and system reliability. The mid and high frequency sections are horn-loaded for sensitivity and pattern control. The CMCD-82H cone midrange compression driver consists of a driver and phasing plug assembly for high output with low distortion. Coupling the compression driver with a small exit diameter is designed to create a smooth transition to the high frequency driver's magnitude and polar pattern domains. The 8" transducer has a Differential Drive dual voicecoil design and the large format high frequency compression driver is designed to deliver intelligible high frequency projection, extended frequency response, and low distortion.
The Progressive Transition waveguides work to achieve an optimum balance of controlled coverage with low distortion, smooth frequency response, and natural sound character. The mid and high frequency horns are rotatable for cabinet positioning in vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope crossovers minimized band overlap and the off-axis response can be well-controlled for enhancing arrayability. The cabinet is fitted with twenty M10 threaded suspension points for a variety of installation opportunities.
