Starting with its heavy-duty ballistic nylon fabric, The Escape offers durability, functionality and comfort as well as a flexible path to a smooth workflow.

At less than 4 lb, this pack can hold more than its weight in gear - both pro and personal. It holds your DSLR with attached lens in shooting position within the camera bay. In addition, you have room for 3-4 more lenses that can be separated by the Escape's internal padded dividers. Unzip the pack and you can reach into the bay for the camera/lens combo or gain access to the rest of the contents. This pack is also rated to hold an iPad.

The pack is carried by its two adjustable shoulder straps and supported by an adjustable contoured, padded waist belt with quick-release buckle and adjustable sternum (chest) strap. As a neat little feature, the shoulder straps have handy attachment points for various pouches to hold additional lenses, a lightmeter or other equipment. Since this pack is made for serious outdoor use, the molded back panel is vented for heat dissipation and also wicks moisture. The small top zippered accessory pocket is an organizer that accommodates those items that you need most often like filters, maps, keys, batteries and memory cards. The larger outer front zippered pocket is designed to carry extra clothes or even your lunch. Every outdoor photographer generally needs a tripod and yours will be held using the "tuck-away" attachments that hold it firmly on the back of the pack. When not needed, they're stored out of sight. On days when you aren't carrying much gear, use the front compression strap to minimize the footprint of the pack to make it more compact and comfortable.

Inside the Escape, your gear is held within padded and adjustable dividers that can be configured in whatever design you need. The camera with attached lens is cradled in its own "nest" standing ready in shooting position. There is a unique hydration compartment that will hold a 3 liter bladder to keep you going on long treks while exterior mesh airline-style side pockets can hold additional water bottles.

Marginal weather? No worries. There's a convenient, fold-out rain fly that can be rapidly deployed to protect The Escape including the tripod. The strong zippers have pull tabs that are easy to use even with gloves on. Clik Elite has even included a removable accessory pouch that can hold cords and other random items. The Escape is backed by Clik Elite's 2-year warranty.

Perfect for my needs!

I recently purchased the Clik Elite Escape Backpack for an 8-day photo trip on the Gulf of Mexico beaches and remote scrub pinelands in western Florida. The backpack worked out great for me. It handled all my camera gear as well as water bottles and snacks for the day. Everything is easily accessible in this pack. I especially love the build in rain cover. The reconfigurable main compartment is perfect for my lenses and equipment. I also was easily able to strap my travel tripod onto the backpack while still having quick access to the rest of my gear! I am very thankful that I upgraded to this pack from my smaller sling bag.

Nice easy to carry bag

This is a very nice easy to carry bag. Hunts body well. Quite comfortable on a 7 mile hike. Can hold my D5300 body, Tamron 150-600, Sigma 105 macro, Tokina 11-16, Nikon 18-300, Nikon 35mm, SB600 flash and various other accessories with room to spare. Was tough to get body and 150-600 lens with reversed hood out of the case. I stored the hood in the top bouch. Fits just fine and makes everything work well. Very happy with this case. Also have a Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack that is great for short trips. For a longer hike, this pack with great waist support is much preferred. Very nice bag.

After 3 trips out in nasty conditions at time I am extremely please with the performance and reliability of this backpack. Great storage, great padding, comfortable and most of all kept everything dry. I definitely recommend this unit for serious day-night shooters.

Bought this to carry all my gear when I head to South Africa. Looks like everything fits great. Even my Nikon D810 with a 200 - 500mm 5.6 Lens. Very well built. Can't wait to take it out on Safari!! Highly recommended

No pack is perfect. This one has some good features; roomy, good support system, and price. The zippers are a little iffy. and access to the top is slwed down by having to unclasp the op section first.

Good size bag

Great size bag to carry lenses and camera, just wish it had more stashes for extra gear, but can't complain for the prize since Lowepro bags cost more and don't carry as much. The big plus is being able to carry a water bladder for outdoors.

what hydration bladder do you recommend?
Asked by: Laurie Anne
I would recommend going with a 3 liter (100 oz) bladder. That is what they recommend for this backpack.
