  • 1Description

The Axis Communications Q1755 Indoor Network Camera (10-Pack) with a 1/3’’ progressive scan CMOS imager delivers high-quality images at a resolution up to 1920 x 1080 at 1080i HDTV. It supports individually configurable multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams at up to 30fps. A minimum illumination of 2 lux (color) and 0.2 lux (B&W) makes the camera suitable for lowlight surveillance.

In addition to 5.1-51mm varifocal lens, the camera offers a 10x optical zoom, a 12x digital zoom, and an autofocus for accurate field-of-view with precise focus. With gatekeeper functionality, the camera automatically zooms in when motion is detected in the designated area, and zooms out after a preset time interval. An optional pan/tilt motor enables the camera to be panned and tilted remotely. The network camera switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. Besides, the indoor camera includes features such as privacy masking, text and image overlay, exposure control, and mirroring of images.

With 2-way audio streaming, the camera enables you to communicate with the intruders from the operator's base station. Password protection restricts access to unauthorized persons and IP filtering restricts access to 1 or more user groups. User groups can be created with an IP address range being defined for each group.

Intelligent video capabilities include video motion detection, audio detection, and active tampering alarm. The camera supports an open API (Application Programming Interface) for software integration, including VAPIX from Axis Communications. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE (IEEE 802.3af); hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The SD/SDHC card slot prevents data loss due to network connection and also makes efficient use of bandwidth by reducing the transmission of unnecessary data.

The Network Camera is ideal for use in indoor applications such as casinos, passport controls, airports, and railway stations, and also offers perimeter surveillance.

Note: Speaker is not included.
