Aquatica AD7000 overview

  • 1Description

The Aquatica AD7000 Underwater Housing with Nikon D7000 DSLR Camera (Body Only) is a durable waterproof housing with a Nikon D7000 DSLR camera (body only). The housing is constructed from aluminum and anodized for further protection against scratches, impact and the elements. It enables you to safely use your camera down to a depth of 300' (91.4 m). A moisture alarm is factory-installed to alert you to a breach with both a light and an auditory alarm. The housing provides access to all camera functions via easy-to-operate levers, buttons, and knurled knobs, and allows the use of lenses ranging from 10 mm fisheye to 200 mm macro.

Two molded lightweight grip handles allow for secure handling and have mounting holes ready to accept strobes and supporting arms. The housing body has an extra mounting point for a focus/video light or other accessory, and three mounting points are provided underneath for various tripod brackets. Other features include a single Nikonos bulkhead, a single optical bulkhead, and a high-quality, coated Galileo-type eyepiece that delivers a large, bright image of the entire viewfinder to your eye.

The Nikon D7000 DSLR Camera (Body Only) boasts a 16.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 2 Image Processor, along with a 3" 921K-dot resolution LCD screen. While this camera does not come with a lens, it accepts over 60 NIKKOR lenses. Capture 1080p HD video at cinema-like 24fps / frames per second. The built-in HDMI output allows you to connect the camera to an HDTV.

Nikon's innovative Vibration Reduction (VR) II technology helps to eliminate the effects of camera shake / motion blur, giving you nice clear images. The D7000 also features built-in i-TTL flash with Speedlight compatibility, offering wide-angle flash-coverage. The camera's native ISO range of 100-6400 (expandable to Hi-2 setting of 25,600) affords the versatility to photograph in challenging lighting conditions, such as when indoors or in the evening. The D7000 DSLR features twin SD card slots with SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card compatibility and several recording options. The long-life EN-EL15 battery enables up to 1050 shots when fully charged!
