Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much needed help This cheat sheet gives me a much needed assist to the myriad functions of my camera. It is well organized and contains the most pertinent functions that will be used in the field. Importantly it fits nicely in my carry case and the price is less than a cheap filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat and Easy to Carry I just received the cheat sheet. It was well packaged and seems like it will be very helpful to have on hand. I am glad to have it instead of forgetting all the concealed menus available to me on my Nikon D5100!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 1st time users. This is a must have for beginner DSLR users. Short and to the point on camera features. Complimentary aid to the instruction manual. Wouldn't go any where without it. Compact, laminated and durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Neuron nudger The manual is on a CD. If you do not want to carry a computer in the field while climbing the learning curve, at the same time as climbing mountains, this Cheat Sheet is just the thing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beats finding stuff in a manual So how do you condense a manual onto a two-sided 8 1/2 X 11 inch trifold piece of paper? By necessity some things will not be covered. For instance most all the scene modes that are on the menu are not covered, while the close-up mode on the dial is covered twice (editing error). Most of what is covered is very basic camera controls, hardly anything is covered that will enhance your picture taking (other than being able to use some of the features on the camera). What I found most useful was the image quality and size portion that let you know how many images you could get per gigabit and how many in your buffer if you are a continuous shooter. Some of the things that were not so good. The sheet includes the icons for some of the menu scene modes but does not define them anywhere so it is not much help to the really low information user of the camera. It also doesn't mention that in remote release mode that the camera will timeout and return you to single release mode if you take to long. I think for someone with their first SLR this cheat sheet is useful. If you've been shooting for a while it may be a little too basic for you although it does help me remember where some of the little used features of the camera are found.
