Good for digital cameras with custom light-balance. The description said Responds to UV . . ., but I shined UV on it and it had NO reaction, which is ideal. I had a card-set that did shine bright blue on the white and gray cards. Results were unpredictible.

Easy, portable, and weather-proof. This card will help you get a very accurate tone. Either using just grey or adding white/black to the mix for an even sharper adjustment. Great purchase.

This is a convenient durable and perfect size White Card balance item, that should go on every shoot in your bag.

Works as expected.

My first use of the card corrected the AWB to what I had seen on site. This was quite a significant change from the camera'a AWB. I used it in post processing and with in camera custom white balance. The result in both instances was the same. The only minor complaint is the slot sheet to hold the card is just paper and not likely to last long.

I like this, but I don't love it.

For one, it's too small. For the price, I would expect it to be much larger. I get that it's durable and all that, but this studio size card is smaller than a paperback book. Trying to get it to fill the frame to register an in-camera custom white balance (for video) is a pain. It's so small that I have to physically move the camera about a foot or so away from the card (and whatever I'm shooting). So this is super annoying if I setup everything and have forgotten to read white balance first. The other annoying this is all the writing and stuff on the front of the card. Get rid of the border, the center circle and cross-hair, the logo, etc. Put all that stuff on the back if you want some branding and a focus target. I just want a clean surface to measure white balance. That's it! I really should have gotten the bigger one, and I still might, but the price is hard to swallow.

White balance is underrated by most photographers, but using the whibal card help me for achieving acurate color since shoot one and through any session, either indoor and outdoor. The whibal card also help me with shorter time at the computer and more time shooting.

question

Is the back of the card blank empty or there is some wording on it? The pocket size seems to have something on it which is rather annoying as im looking for an empty rear side card to manually adjust the WB on camera itself than post process. Thanks
Asked by: Jonathan L.
The back of the card has quite a bit of writing on the rear side of the card. It has a WhiBal logo, similar to the one shown of the side that faces the camera, but it is larger than that one. About one-third is covered with printed letters and then there are two illustrations on the other part that show how, and where to, insert a S hook to make the card useable as a hanger or a table stand. Hope this helps
