The 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Lens for Nikon with AE Chip from Rokinon gives you approximately a 115° view with dramatic results when used with a full frame digital camera or 35mm film camera. It includes a special chip that allows the lens to work with the camera's focus confirm, auto exposure, auto metering and auto white balance functions. Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 Reviews
Love my new lens. Very sharp and very wide. I tried it out on astrophotography and it seems brilliant. Great product and great company to buy from.
Great Option Great Price
This is a wonderful wide angle choice for broad landscapes and the night sky. The lens is very sharp! And the price makes it very affordable.
I love this lens for real estate it's s must have.
Great for AstroPhotography
A good lens at a reasonable price. A little difficult to get an exact focus, but since the lens is so wide, the focus will be effectively correct.
Great manual lens
Fit to a Canon 10 D IR converted. One must open to full apature to focus. . I may use on my other canon mas it appears very well built and crisp. I may even purchase one for another mount. Great for close up work.
I bought this as a night sky lens but haven't taken it out for that yet- however, testing it out around the backyard in daylight, so far I'm pleased with the image quality. A lens this wide, I'd have been lost without the exposure confirmation down in the left corner through the viewfinder. Good purchase.
I bought this lens for landscape photos and astrophotography but haven't had an opportunity yet to use it in that manner. I have used it for interior photography which showed me that this lens excels in interior spaces and has that Wow factor I'm looking for. It is of course a manual lens but I prefer manual focus anyway. The focus is smooth and some have commented that the lens is somewhat large and hefty but I have no problem with the lens size or weight. Slightly concerned about infinity focus as the focal ring does not move all the way to the infinity symbol on the lens, but I have heard of adjustments in this area. Looking forward to using it for astrophotography as I hear that it takes great milky way photos.
Great product and service
The lens arrived early and in excellent condition. Thank you!
