The 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Lens for Nikon with AE Chip from Rokinon gives you approximately a 115° view with dramatic results when used with a full frame digital camera or 35mm film camera. It includes a special chip that allows the lens to work with the camera's focus confirm, auto exposure, auto metering and auto white balance functions. With hybrid aspherical lenses, you will produce sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations. This manual focus 14mm lens focuses as close as 0.9' / 28cm from the lens, and has a built-in petal-type lens hood. With some cameras, Shutter Lock must be disengaged on the camera's menu.

Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 Reviews
Great manual lens
Fit to a Canon 10 D IR converted. One must open to full apature to focus. . I may use on my other canon mas it appears very well built and crisp. I may even purchase one for another mount. Great for close up work.
Lens is adequate, Rokinon customer/product support is not
I tried the the Rokinon 14mm on my Pentax K-1. It works well once you figure out how to use it via the vague instructions from both Rokinon and Pentax (their mysterious green button). The Rokinon is vague and it does not tell you that their lens will definitely not come off the camera unless you unlock its aperture ring from the A setting. The instruction manual mentions this situation, but it does not mention what the solution is, it suggests other things. I had to figure it out by trial and error. It scared the daylights out of me thinking that I would have a fixed-lens Pentax K-1! When I tried to register the lens at the Rokinon product registration webpage, it came back with an error Whoops, it looks like something went wrong, after I clicked to send the filled-in registration form. When I tried to contact Rokinon about the product registration problem via their webpage, I got a recaptcha fail 2 error after clicking on [send]. The bottom line is that their support is only a facade. They will sell you the product but after that their product is your problem. Too bad because the lens does seem to take relatively sharp photos with no chromatic aberration.
Did what I asked of it
Bought about a month ago to use during a night photography workshop. I was worried that I would get a soft copy, but I have to say that I was incredibly impressed with the way I was able to focus on stars and also maintain a crisp foreground. It's a little heavy on my Sony a6600 body, but overall very pleased.
I want to return it!
I would like to return it!
Over expectations.
Purchased to try a little night sky photography. Took it to Disney attached to a Nikon D750 the day after I received it. Had to set the camera up to recognize this lens. Only took a couple of minutes. See others info on how to do this. These pictures were taken with no learning curve, 8/7/21. I'm very pleased with the results after the initial test at Disney. As you can see this is a typical wide angle lens. See Epcot 1.
the lens will not focus!
The sense will not focus properly! I will call B&H now and return the lens and get the AUDO FOCUS version
Good lens
I bought this as a night sky lens but haven't taken it out for that yet- however, testing it out around the backyard in daylight, so far I'm pleased with the image quality. A lens this wide, I'd have been lost without the exposure confirmation down in the left corner through the viewfinder. Good purchase.
14 mm 2.8 lens is fantastic
This lens had everything I need in a wide angle lens. I didn't pay extra for auto focus because in most cases I am at infinity. The AE chip means I can set aperture on my camera, which is helpful in low light situations and it alsi lets me know what aperture was when I review my photos later. This is a great special purpose lens. I am really glad that I bought it. B&H have been great to deal with.
