The Jobu Design Replacement Foot for Canon 600mm f/4, 800mm f/5.6 & 400mm f/2.8 Lenses replaces the factory foot of your Canon lens and introduces an Arca Swiss-style profile, for easy attachment to a corresponding quick-release clamp of a gimbal or other head. With the Arca-style profile integrated into the foot, the stack height is reduced and things stay lower in profile.

Made of CNC billet aluminum alloy and hard-anodized in black, the Replacement Foot installs easily by using the four M4 screws that came with your lens. A long-reach Allen key is included (M3 size).

The bottom of the foot features two safety stop screws (M3 size) that prevent the lens from sliding out of the quick-release element, in the event that the clamp is inadvertently left loose. This prevents potential damage to your valuable equipment.

    Replacement Foot for Canon IF 600mm f/4, 800mm f/5.6 & 400mm f/2.8 Lenses is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improves Handling of the 400 mm MKII Replaces the original foot offering a lower profile for ease of handling both as a hand-hold lens or mounted in a tripod. Well built allowing for adequate space between the foot and lens for hand holding. Another major advantage is that foot has an ArcaSwiss type groove for easy mounting in the Z1 sp ball head or equivalent. Offers clearance for reversing the hood when storing the lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A real upgrade I bought this for my EF 400 f/2,8 IS USM to use it with a Wimberley Gimbal head, and it works perfectly. Easy to install, and keeps the big lens safely attached to the Wimberley head. I attached a piece of non-slip skateboard tape on top of it to increase friction when carrying the lens. This should have been included, and would have earned it the fifth star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Acra Swiss Gimbal mounts This replaces the foot on Canon 6oomm lenses. If you have a gimbal head on your tripod you must put an adapter on foot of the lens, which just adds another piece and raises the lens. This replacement for the foot lowers the center of gravity and its length allows you to balance the lens on the gimbal head allowing smooth operation. It is well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Design and Finish Better design than Wimberley foot since it allows space between lens and foot for the fingers to use it as a handle. Rounded edges ease on hands. Expensive but worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product The gravity of the lens lowers more than an original foot. It made a good balance!
