    Audio-Technica BP893c Reviews

BP893CW MicroEarset Condenser Headworn Microphone (Beige) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feedback problems I tried to use these for live stage productions at a middle school. We have multiple types of wireless lavs including omnis and directionals as well as the head-mounted mics that have the longer boom. These are omnidrectional mics that do not get close enough to the performers mouth to get a good signal without causing feedback (and we have a digital feedback suppressor). I even tried warping them to get them closer to the mouth, but could not use them. I admit that these kids do not project well, but I could use all the other mics mentioned. Had to replace these with regular lavs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This mic is great for stage acting. We have had a set of these mics for a year now and have used them in several high school stage productions. They are supremely reliable and pick up voice very well. Because they are small, they are almost invisible from the audience. The first time we used them we had 3 breakages. One, because the cord is so skinny, it broke in half, one cord was pulled from the plug, and one tip broke off the actual mic. All three were different, so probably flukes and probably user-caused. AT was great about replacing them. We haven't had any problems since. Also, the wind screens are difficult to keep on, therefor we have lost all of the original ones that came with the mics. Excellent choice for us, and I have recommended them to other schools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for those wanting an over the ear mic. If you have a speaker that move their head a lot this is a great alternative to a Lavalier mic. It's a little touchy to tune but once you get it tuned it's hands off. Speakers like the short boom and comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these earsets! I use them for stage productions and what I like about them the most is they stay put, unlike other versions where you constantly have to tape them down.
