The Bosch VJR-821-IWCV AutoDome Junior HD 10x Camera (Clear, White), with 1/2.5" image sensor and 6.3-63mm lens delivers clear images at a resolution up to 1080p. A minimum illumination of 0.1 lux (at 50 IRE / Night Mode) makes the camera suitable for low-light surveillance. A low-impact, high-resolution acrylic clear bubble is used for enhanced image clarity.
With H.264 compression, bandwidth throttling, and multicasting capabilities, the camera resourcefully handles bandwidth and storage requirements, while offering high picture quality and resolution. Quad-streaming feature can deliver 3 H.264 streams simultaneously with an M-JPEG stream in full and reduced bandwidth modes. Along with NTCIP (National Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol) conformance, the Junior HD Camera is compliant with ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum), which enables exchange and use of information between network video products to exchange live video, audio, metadata, and control information, and the systems are auto detected and connected to video management systems.
With 64 user-defined presets, the HD camera offers ± 0.1° preset accuracy. The AutoDome camera offers continuous 360° panning, 0-94° tilt range, high-speed panning up to 360°/sec, and a tilt speed up to 100°/sec.
Integrated Autoscaling (proportional zoom) and Autopivot features allow the camera to automatically rotate and flip, ensuring optimal control. Privacy masking allows a total of 15 individually configurable privacy masks, with up to 15 being displayed in the same scene. With black, gray, or white masking characteristics to choose from, each mask changes the size smoothly as the camera is zoomed, thus ensuring that the covered object cannot be seen.
The built-in iSCSI allows the AutoDome Junior HD PTZ Camera to stream video directly to an iSCSI RAID array that enables local video storage. Recording at the Edge limits the dependence on bandwidth and makes system recording performance totally independent from network performance. IVA (Intelligence Video Analysis) bases the IVA algorithm on digital imaging technology that uses multilevel image analysis of pixels, texture, and object direction.
With image stabilization algorithms, the AutoDome camera reduces camera shakes in both horizontal and vertical axis thereby offering stable and high-quality images. Auto white balance adjusts the red and blue signals by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.
Power is supplied to the camera through PoE; hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. With heavy-duty, tamper-resistant aluminum housing, the AutoDome Junior HD 10x Camera has been designed to deliver critical images even in the toughest environments.
