    Universal Wi-Fi N Adapter is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, simple, effective, and cheap I wanted an inexpensive way to connect my Xbox 360 to my wireless router downstairs, and this device worked beautifully. I followed the clear and simple setup instructions, and after about 5 minutes I was connected. It's been working great for a couple months now, and I haven't had to tinker with it at all. As some others have noted, the Ethernet cable that came with the adapter is garbage. I had some issues initially, but it was entirely due to a faulty cable. Extra details: *This device is USB powered and includes the USB cable and a 120V ac to USB adapter if you want to plug it into a wall socket. I'm using a USB port on my Xbox to power it now. *Setup is done by connecting the adapter to a computer's ethernet port and accessing settings through the web browser. *Some computers or consoles have problems with the default DNS servers used by many ISPs, so don't blame this device for DNS issues. Look up Open DNS on wikipedia for a solution to most DNS issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really get the job done Pretty straight forward. You use this to connect any LAN wired device on your wireless router. Easy to setup, manual gives you about 7 steps to follow and they are really simple to accomplish. Can't complaint about the range, never tested it do see how far it goes though, but signal quality is strong on a second room about 22 feet away from router, it's not that far but it's on a different room and the router is hidden behind a desk. So I think it's probably good in range. You can use it to connect your TV on your LAN, an old BluRay with LAN connection, your LAN printer, or even a Computer and don't waste a USB port with it Actually, you can power it with a USB cable connected on your computer, but one AC Power and a small LAN cable are provided.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Excellent Choice to Connect from Ethernet to Wi-Fi I use a Hotspot to connect to the Internet, because I live in a rural area, which is not served by the large cable companies. I use IOGear's Universal Wi-Fi N Adaptor to connect to non Wi-Fi dataloggers and monitoring meters for Solar Hotwater and Solar PV panels to the Internet through the Hotspot, capturing information to calculate their output and performance, respectively. It can also be used in a urban setting, when one chooses to connect remote non-WiFi devices to a home router.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from * This unit is the biggest junk I have ever expend my money on. While the setup IS simple getting the stupid actual setup form by using 192.168.1.252 takes more than five try out why I don't know. The unit WILL NOT HOLD THE IP ADDRESS once the power goes off, every time it loses power YOU MUST HOOK IT UP TO A PC AND DO THE SET UP ALL OVER AGAIN. Do not try to get in contact with IOGEAR six different times I have called and no customer service has answer, once I kept the line for a hole 45 minutes, NO ONE ANSWER, I give it a 1 star because otherwise it won't take a nothing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I use this to add Wifi to my Pioneer receiver. Pioneer wants $150 for their Wifi unit and this works as well for a fraction of the cost. I just powered it up, pressed the WPS buttons on it and my router and boom, I was connected just like that. It has a wall wart for power but my Pioneer has a USB port so I just plugged it into that for power and it works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Luck With This Product This product did not set up as it said in the quick start guide. I had to call the IOGear help desk and they could not get it to work. They said it would not work with a modern dual band router. I eventually got it to work on my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great this was so easy to setup with the WPS button and works great. I would definitely buy another. I used it to connect a blu-ray player and works great with netflix and other apps the bluray has, have not had any lag or disconnections. Saved me over 50 bucks then buying the wifi adapter made for the bluray
