    Olympus VN-7200 reviews

VN-7200 Digital Voice Recorder is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and reliable Before I found this digital recorder, I was using a couple of phone apps that constantly failed on me. A friend told me about this recorder, and I decided to give it a try. I honestly couldn't ask for a better recorder. I especially love the different folder option on the recorder, which allows me to keep track of interviews for different stories I am working on. The playback sound is also very crisp and clear. I highly recommend this digital recorder, especially for journalists like myself who need a reliable recording device.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good recorder works great.. easy to use, menus etc.. BIG disadvantage is not being able to transfer files / recordings to computer etc. The reason for 3 starts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't recommend Hard time trying to go back and listen to a specfic sentence - goes back to the beginning so I have to start over very frustrating. I work in an office and need to listen on headphone. I can only hear from one side of headphones- contacted Olympus was told I have to buy special headphones. I purchased based on the reviews- Disappointed. Positive it is not expensive

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Unit... But All units from Sony and Olympus are very good but, They say Supports and ext. mic., the question is, does the ext. Mic. work wirh small clip on mics. without tehir own button batteries??? And, I rcommends the HQ or SP... LP is good for a very quiet room. Even if 2Gs sounds like nothing these days it is good for a very long time, especially a a mono unit. I would consider looking for a Stereo unit with SD card. And, handling the unit will pick -up on the recording so hold it tight or put it on a table or in a case that does not transmit the noise to the recording. Same with any/all units.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The product is good for average use. I record lectures in class room. The mic is not very powerful and so the machine has to be placed in the very front. Volume is good, but sound is not clear if recorded from a distance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Olympus Digital Recorders are All Great! I've used Olympus digital recorders for many years to keep me from having to rely on a very faulty memory. I carry the recorder with me at all times and, when I need to remember something, I just pop out the recorder, record a brief reminder message, and put it away. Then, each morning, I transcribe the memories into my day's task list or put them in my calendar or whatever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Recorder I used this recorder for college lecture classes. I had excellent sound even when sitting in the middle of the class. Loved the ability to store lectures.
