Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl Reviews
I love this paper
I have tried many high end papers looking for the ONE. This is pretty much it. It is expensive, at least for me, so I test print on some Canon Pro Luster and when I like what I am getting, I do a final on the Photo Rag Pearl. I am really astonished at the detail this paper is capable of reproducing and it looks great under glass in a frame. Simply one of THE best papers going, IMO.
Favorite paper for fine art B&W prints
This has been my favorite, go-to, paper for black and white prints for a few years. It has a wonderful visible texture and slight sheen when printed on.
My go to paper
This is my Go To paper for much of my work. Great tones.
The Ultimate Luster Paper
This is my favorite luster paper. Expensive, but well worth it.
Fantastic Paper
This is a fantastic paper. I use in both for its quality and because it has no OBAs, which is important to me for making archival work. It renders portraits and skin tones beautifully. I highly recommend it.
Paper Like No Other.
Superb. Love the texture and the stiff, substantial nature of the paper itself. It is almost as if you don’t need to mount your pics for display. Feed it one sheet at a time.
Try This Paper
Truly beautiful results. This paper takes ink (using a Canon Pixma Pro-100) exceptionally well for deep clean blacks and true color renditions. Any image will reproduce well on this paper. If you are like me and have made paper choices for individual images based on what you needed to see the paper reproduce try this. Every image I have tried has looked terrific on this Hahnemühle paper.
