question

Is the paper surface in the Photo Rag Book & Album heartier than the regular Photo Rag from Hahnemuhle? I find that surface very soft. In other words, will the Book & Album paper stand up to being handled?
Asked by: Barbara
The Photo Rag® Book & Album is exactly the same paper base as all of there Photo Rag® products. It is exactly the same surface. I hope this helps.

Is there any difference in a quality of Photo Rag 308g vs 188g papers?

The image quality does not differ between the 2 papers. The only difference is the weight and thickness of the papers. So the visual interpretation may vary.

question

Does this paper have a matte service that will accept pencil signatures? Some of the glossier papers will not take pencil very well.
Asked by: Daniel B.
Hi Daniel,I use this paper for most of my fine art printing. It's my paper of preference hands down. It is a thicker fine art paper that gives the images a quality beyond measure. The colours in my photos are vibrant and the images appear to have a painterly quality to them. The paper accepts pencil signatures without any trouble. I've also used fine markers (archival quality) for signature. Hope this helps.

question

When I opened a pack of this paper I noticed the sheets are not quite flat. The edges were bent slightly upwards. Is this normal, or maybe I got expired or not stored properly pack? What is the recommended position for storage? Can it be vertical, like a book on a shelf?
Asked by: Andrey
For an art paper you are going to have some irregularity but curling is an easier one to fix. Shouldn't affect anything in printing but maybe store the work with heavy books on top. Not too worry.
