A compact wide-angle prime with intuitive handling and an advanced optical design, the silver M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 from Olympus is a 24mm equivalent lens for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. The wide focal length pairs with the bright f/2 maximum aperture to benefit available light shooting as well as astrophotography applications. The lens's optical design makes use of one aspherical element, one DSA (Double Super Aspherical) element, and a Super HR (high refractive index) element to reduce spherical aberrations and control distortion for notable sharpness, and one extra-low dispersion element reduces color fringing for high clarity and color accuracy. Additionally, the lens is characterized by its Movie & Still Compatible autofocus system for quick and quiet performance, as well as a manual focus clutch and Snapshot Focus mode for intuitive control over focus position and depth of field.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 Reviews
Excellent Product, Price, Serv
This 12mm on MFT opens new perspectives. Great quality.
Sharp!
Thanks B&H for always having what I need, when I need it!
Great lens for my X5 OSMO.
I purchased this lens to use with my X5 Osmo Pro. Lens is sharp and feels durable. It gave me the extra field of view I needed compared to the stock DJI lens. I'm happy with the purchase, but was bummed to find out that a lens hood is not included. You have to purchase the hood separately. For the price I paid it should be included.
Good lens
Using it with DJI Inspire 2 x5s. Great FOV and do not forget to get the balancing ring.
Solid little gem
Solid built metal lens, yet not heavy. Paired it really well with pen f. It’s been on the camera since. Auto focus is quiet, fast enough for my use (street photography) and sharp throughout all f stops. Too bad Olympus did not include a lens hood for all their lens unless it’s pro lens.
Poor image, sadly disappointed in this lens
I unfortunately must agree with those that reported poor image results this lens produces. While build quality of the lens is excellent the lack of sharpness, but most importantly heavy fringing effect has been a show stopper. I own the Olympus 45mm lens too which produces MAGNIFICENT image! I wish this one came even halfway there. I'll be getting rid of this one just as soon as I find an alternative.
wide angle lens
what a fabulous lens! photos are crystal clear and bright
A nice, small lens
I need a small wide-angle and this fits my needs. So far with focus peaking and quick manual/automatic shift I have not seen any of the soft focus some have complained of, and the compact size of the lens makes it a natural addition for travel. I have not put the weather-sealing to the test yet.
