Sensei SC-77 reviews

77mm Filter Stack Caps is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!!!! THE CHANCE OF THIS LOCKING UP ON YOUR DIOPTER SET AT THIS DIAMETER IS VERY HIGH WHEN OVERTIGHTENED. YOU MIGHT NOT THINK YOU OVERTIGHTENED IT, BUT IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH... I WAS LOOKING FOR A HUGE CHANNEL LOCK PLIERS (MINE NOT BIG ENOUGH), THEN A BENCH VISE (COULDN'T FIND IN GARAGE), BUT A FEW LOVE TAPS FINALLY DID THE TRICK. THIS STUFF IS NOT STAINLESS STEEL, SO A WORD TO THE WISE. THE PRODUCT WORKS AS ADVERTISED, AND I'M SATISFIED.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to store and travel filters I use the Sensei metal back cap to protect the filters and keep dust out while stacking filters for compact storage. And, I use a plastic 77mm pinch clip lens cap for the front end to protect the filters, and for fast easy mounting the filters. I wish the front and back caps were sold separate. All I use is the back cap. Nevertheless, it's well built and a great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK Metal material is good but screw threads are a little ragged and have difficulty engaging the filters easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This is the absolute best way to carry around your filters! Strong, secure, and as compact as you can get. Of course, you'll need a pair of these for each filter thread size you use. I have three sets in different sizes. The only issue I've encountered is that it can be a little challenging removing polarizing filters from this, as they have a ring that rotates freely. This isn't an issue with the caps, but rather just something to keep in mind when stacking those types of filters. Now I can securely carry a dozen or more filters in the space of a relatively small lens. Awesome!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and compact Saw this on an instructional video seemed like a good idea so ordered it. Easier to carry around than the traditional filter case and definitely more protective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, neat filter carrying solution One of those why didn't I think of this? things. Actually I did but I was using different caps and for the money, I like this better. Can I live without it? Sure, but its one of those things that just makes storing and carrying the few filters I use so much easier. You won't probably want to carry more than 2-3 filters like this though but all I carry is a polarizer and grad neutral density. Perfect. I have them for the three most used sizes I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy to have I first bought some when I got a set of four 58 mm macro filters, and a second set for three neutral density filters. Keeps them all safely organized. Then, after having bent a couple of step-up rings, I hit on the idea of stacking the rings with a big filter cap on the front and a small one on the rear. Sometimes it is just a 52-58 and 58-77'rings, sometimes more. No more bends! Now I can save $$$ for some brass rings
