The Hitech 4 x 4" Day for Night #1 Filter is an effective solution for creating a nighttime or dusk appearance while photographing in daylight. This filter provides a cool color cast and lowered contrast while providing neutral density to help create the illusion of a moonlit, nighttime scene.
This filter measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6mm and is compatible with the Cokin Z-Pro filter holder. There is a 1 stop density that should only partially be compensated for in order to retain some of the darkness and underexposure inherent to a nighttime image.
