Freehands 11291UM overview

  • 1Description

The black Medium/Large Power Stretch 5 Finger Liner, Unisex from Freehands features a unique design. The unisex design is manufactured with all five fingers supplied with a silver plated conductive polyamide material that permits you to use your iPad without removing the glove since the material conducts electrostatic energy to the finger area.

The outer area is wind-resistant while the soft inner layer pulls moisture from skin (wicking) keeping you warm and dry. The palm area is also fabricated with a silicone screen for superior gripping power. Bolstered by its warm Polartec material, this is a breathable and lightweight glove that is both comfortable and quite functional. The glove is also stretchable making it even more useful for outdoor activities - photographic or otherwise.

Power Stretch 5 Finger Liner, Unisex (Medium/Large, Black) is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Insides very scratchy on the seams If it weren't for the horribly scratchy seams on the inside of these, I'd give them at least a 4 and maybe a 5. Hopefully that will break in some with wear if I can stand to wear them. The grip strips don't seem that grippie either. I have some Black Diamond gloves that you could stick to the wall with. From experience with other gloves of the same material, they will pill quickly if you use them for much of anything, especially using a camera. Fit was pretty good. Though a little boxy at the tips, the touch screen tips were good because the roll over to the tips of the fingers which is what you actually touch the screen with. A lot of companies put it on the pad of the fingers which is not where you generally use to poke your screen. (NOTE: I just figured out what is so scratchy inside, it's the Grip stuff on the palms that is stitched into the seams too. Which probably also speaks to it not being soft/grippie enough too.) It's hard to say if I should recommend them. I guess you can return them if you don't like them. They do have some pluses if you can get over the feel of the interior seams. Maybe those will get better over time. So maybe a tentative try them...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than freezing your hands This gloves are slim enough to give you good control (like grabbing things from your pockets). The tips are Ok and they work on touch screen. Don't expect the gloves to be to warm though. It'll just be enough to keep using your touch screen devices during the harsh winter, without completely freezing your hands. Overall I would but them again, and I don't know of a better product out there:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gloves for cold weather I am outside a lot for landscape photography, and this time of year in upstate NY, it can be very cold early in the morning. I needed some glove liners that would allow access to camera controls, but not snag on velcro from my coat and camera bag. These gloves are great! While I dont necessarily need the ability to use my phone with these, its a nice addition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits like a glove Overall the glove is nice. It is stylish and works well with touch screen devices. I wish there was more traction on the glove though, they put the fear of God in me that I am going to drop everything I am holding. Another thing I like is that they are thin. I like thin gloves. And they are snug. I like snug gloves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty decent gloves I bought these with the idea that I could use my camera and phone while out in the colder weather. I think I would go up a size if I got them again. They aren't as form fitting as I would have liked, but the price was good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised Very comfortable. Easy to use when finer movement is needed than most regular gloves. Actually warmer than I expected. If it's sub-zero, I wouldn't have these alone, but for regular temps in winter, I think they'll be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No more frozen fingers Excellent tactile feel in the fingers & the rubber grip makes it easy to use & hold my cameras in the cold weather. Can be used as an inner liner under mittens or or larger gloves when it's really cold too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like a Glove As opposed to other smart phone gloves I've worn in the past, these actually worked. Plus, they were great when using the touch screen on my GH4. Very handy on those cold morning shoots.
