XT-A25s XT Flash Extender Kit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with the Olympus FL50R. I'd give it 4 stars, actually. I use it with a 400mm equivalent telephoto lens for birds. Good points: inexpensive (even when posted to Australia), fits neatly and is well-aligned if you stop the free-play in the flash head itself, light weight so it's not putting too much strain on the flash. Concentrates the beam of light to a reasonable extent, allowing lower flash power settings. Caveats: comes with a diffuser inside (so the light hits that before hitting the fresnel). My tests suggest that the diffuser robs a bit of light, so I removed it (pops out easily). See pic below. That makes the light beam somewhat less even but I can live with that. The fresnel is flexible, a rigid one might be better. Requires a stiff bag or case as it is not robustly built and would get knocked around if put in with other loose gear. Seems to work better when the zoom head on the flash is manually set to one of the wider settings: the beam is not spread any further, but seems more even. It was posted quickly and arrived in good order. The leaflet in the box was for a bounce diffuser, not a flash extender but that is of no consequence.
