The OP/TECH USA Battery Holster keeps you shooting when a battery dies. This convenient, American-made holster can hold a standard-size DSLR battery, 3 AA batteries, or others of similar dimensions. It is not designed to accommodate larger pro DSLR batteries, such as the Nikon EN-EL18a. A hook-and-loop closure ensures that your power source stays put until it's needed. And what makes the holster great is the fact that it easily slides onto a camera strap or belt for quick retrieval when you need power immediately.

Battery Holster (Black) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 115.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful Very good for keeping handy, and accounted for, a lot of stuff too small to retrieve once out of sight, from the camera batteries that is was meant to contain, to small spare cell batteries, change never together with those small batteries though, I have four of these on my camera strap, a small note, miniature LED flashlight, keys, security pin, in own case all of the above. Elastic in size and accommodating, dependable fastener so far, might create addiction, no kidding. Wish it could fit 4 AAs rather than 3, but that would make it pretty bulky at once. Always a tradeoff...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK, but small I bought this for carrying a second battery on my Olympus EM1 Mk2. The battery on this camera is somewhat larger than on other Micro 4/3 cameras, though is smaller than many batteries for larger cameras. I found out that my battery wouldn't fit in the holster, so rather than send it back to B&H (as cheap as this little holster is, it wouldn't have been worth my effort to return it) I gave it to a friend whose camera batteries fit. It would be nice if the manufacturer either provided a list of cameras whose batteries will fit, or better yet, make these in different sizes. If it had fit my camera, I would have been happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected, but nice Battery holster is good quality and appears that it will hold up to my use. The strap is big enough that i could attach it to either one of my camera straps, a backpack strap or a regular size belt. The only problem that I have with the holster is that the little flap that closes over the battery and covers it attaches to the backside by the strap loop. It is awkward at best and sometimes frustrating to open and close. I have attached a few photos to try to show what I am talking about Overall, the holster is great quality for the money, but i wish the lid (flap) attached on the front instead of the back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Sony a6000 battery perfectly I was worried it would be too small, this fits just right!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought several. These holsters easily attach to the camera strap and can hold small items for instant use. I use them to hold 2 CF or SD cards in their plastic cases so that I don't run out of space to shoot birds-in-flight. My camera (a Canon 1D Mark III) shoots at 10 frames per second and can fill up a 32 Gig card really fast. Having additional memory cards available on the strap makes changing cards fast and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, lightweight, convient! I bought three of these for holding spare batteries in three cameras: Olympus OMD, Nikon D5200 and Fuji X20. It is able to hold two Fuji X20 batteries. The battery holster is soft and lightweight, but is a also protective for your spare battery. I am not sure it is waterproof, though. So I would not leave my spare battery in during rain. The velcro on the case is pretty strong so you don't need to worry about your battery falling off. It does not interfere with the comfort of your camera strap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Safe way to carry Batteries It is good for small point & shoot batteries and it is well made. It is a little skimpy for thicker DSLR-like batteries. The description does state that though. My purpose in getting 2 of them was to carry my DSLR-like batteries that comes without any cases. Fits tight, but they do fit. I don't want the exposed terminals of batteries to inadvertently come in contact with metal or another batteries' terminals - been there and done that. 4 stars being what I wanted, but tight for bigger batteries.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd design This does carry my spare battery, but the design seems odd. How is it supposed to go on my belt or camera strap? If I use the flap closure, it doesn't fit my belt and it slides all over the camera strap. Plus, when I open it it is no longer on my belt or strap. Then there is the piece of velcro across the front. Useless for the belt, assuming that I have the patience to put it on the belt in the first place, because then the closure flap is blocked. Oh well, decent battery protection.
