question

Does the UR-E23 physically attach to camera front? And is it set up to screw filters into it? Not used to this camera, but front need protection, and a polarized filter would help. Not going underwater, well intentionally that is. Did get soaked today, but just heavy rain. Thank you folks who answer :)

The filter holder attaches physically to the camera. You then screw 40.5mm filters into it. Here is the highly rated B+W 40.5mm Circular Polarizer MRC Filter B&H # BWCPMC40.5.

question

UR-E23 filter adapter allows work on AW130 ?
Asked by: Anonymous
Unfortunately, the UR-E23 is only compatible with the AW100. It does not appear as though the AW130 has a filter adapter.

question

Stupid question-what is this used for.Bought Aw110-1st non disposibile camera so please help me.Thanks

This adapter allows one to attach 40.5mm filters to the Nikon AW100 camera (not the AW110). The AW110 model requires a different filter holder (Nikon UR-E25 - see link below for details). Filters can be attached to cameras to alter the exposure effects and outcomes. Below is a link to the proper filter holder on our website. If you regard the Accessories tab on that link you may then view various optional filters that will fit onto the adapter. The most popular ones used are the UV proptectors as well as the Circular Polarizers. Here is the link for you to regard:http://bhpho.to/1khoYC4
