The Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Wide-Angle Lens for Canon gives you a wide 84° view when used with a full-frame 35mm camera, or 57.6° when used with an APS-C camera--excellent for landscapes, cramped interiors, street photography and general photography of all kinds. Four low-dispersion (ED) glass elements and two aspheric elements produce sharply defined images with a minimum of flare and ghosting. The lens focuses as close as 9.84" from the lens, giving you outstanding wide-angle close-up views. A multi-layered and anti-reflection UMC coating provides superb light transmission. All focus and exposure functions are manual--there is no autofocus or auto exposure.

Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 Reviews
Fantastic value for the image quality
I bought this primarily for astrolandscapes for my Nikon D610. I had to send the first copy back for a replacement as the coma in two corners was disproportionate to the opposite corners and did not disappear by f/4. The second copy does MUCH better. There is some coma, but completely gone in all corners by f/4, and the little bit at f/1.4 in not objectionable and really only an issue with pixel peeping. For the money, this lens is a GREAT value for me.
24 mm lens
I bought this lens for astrophotography, and didn't need an autofocus lens. I like the fact it's fast (f/ 1.4). I'm still trying to find the focus at infinity. Many fine lens are hard to focus at infinity, For landscape photography, this lens should do fairly well, it's wide angle so focusing a scene in daylight should be easy. .
Didn't focus at infinity
Didn't focus at all like it was supposed to. It also didn't focus at infinity.
Very Good.....if find a good copy
Web reviews praise this lens for light gathering ability, value and having minimal coma in the corners when shot wide open, but warn that lens quality is variable. How true, I had to exchange four times to find a good copy. The first two had significant coma in the corners and the third was not even sharp in the center, but the last one looks very good. Thank you B&H for your return policy and customer service. I would rate a good copy of this lens as 4 star, but tedious to find that good lens. If you purchase, make sure you test your copy.
The Lens work great
I received the lens on time (for Alaska, always a day later than said) It work great, no issues at this time. I only wish my most recent order went as well, but thats another review.
Great Lens
The lens is great. Just be sure to check out the focus as soon as you receive it. You can really check it well using a Hoodman viewer with live view on your camera ( I have a Nikon D 810) and enlarging it. Be sure to check it out wide open at 1.4.
I love it
I love the Rokinon 24mm F1.4 lens. I use it on my Nikon Z6 ii camera body with the Ftz ii adapter. It communicates with my camera. I can change aperture in camera instead of changing aperture with the ring on lens. My pictures are sharp when stopping down to F2 thru F22. I had to place camera on tripod to get sharp pictures when shooting at F1.4,but I am 66 yrs. old.
Love this incredibly fast lens on a budget!
I bought this lens after my trip to Maine during which I shot a great Milky Way image from the Rockport Bay using a Sigma f/2.8. I live in the Hudson Valley, NY and used the Rokinon (Samyang) on a Milky Way shot nearby. Turned out great! One thing, it won't help you with light pollution - get somewhere DARK!
