    Magnus TB-200BL reviews

MaxiGrip Flexible Tripod (Blue) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible The product did not support 3 days of use with a GoPro and was already unstable. The screw that held the stand to the tripod fell off after 5 days and I could not use it on my trip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Accessory for Hiking I do long hikes where every ounce of weight counts. This lightweight tripod works fine and slips in cargo pants pocket. I looked at Jobo, but like the rubber covered legs on this model: easily slides into your pocket, holds and protects the little ball and socket joints, and the rubber is somewhat sticky and thus gets a tight grip on smooth objects. I would be a little nervous using this with a 1000 g camera. My Fuji X-20 weighs about 422 g, and I would not want to trust a much heavier camera to this little tripod, especially when there is wind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little POD used this on a motorcycle trip - worked great.. i bought one of the original monster small tripods and it only lasted a couple months before one of the joints failed.. this one is flexible and i don't see the joints failing so easily. only negative i could possibly add is that i was a little uncomfortable with the head mechanism.. was scared to put my drift camera on it and hold it down toward the road.. not saying it would not have been ok, i was just a little timid about it as the mechanism IS a little on the 'loose' side..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic little tripod, perfect for action cams. I bought 5 of these to use on a project where I needed to place inexpensive action cams in ackward locations. These grip with great tenacity, and hold firm. The pop out thing that acts as the interface between the tripod and the cam is a bit odd as you have to be certain both sides click in, but then again you have to make sure you stop your car when driving before you run into things to... So it's all on the user... the little rubber ball feet on the tripod are grippier than every single other tripod I have ever used. If you need more grip, weld the thing down! I can not make any long term durability claims, but I do know in the month I have had mine, they have been treated very poorly and are holding up well...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nicely portable The main thing that's good about this product is that it is portable. It fits inside the camera bag that came with my D3200 D-SLR easily. Since the arms are flexible, and the pivot underneath the camera is on a ball mount, you have a lot of control of the camera angle and positioning, so it is more versatile than most tripods that are portable. The con is that it can be a little difficult to get the arms back in a standard shape after bending them to adjust to a shooting situation. A regular tripod works the same every time, all the time, which this one doesn't do without a little work; or unless you never make use of the primary benefit of this tripod, the flexibility.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor value legs have give at ball-in-socket joins such that you won't be able to set it and expect that it holds it's position with a typical point and shoot camera. white tips of tripod feet fall off easily and will be lost. if you want a bendy tripod, spend extra and get the appropriate joby gorillapod for your needs. don't waste your money on this as I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Find I needed a tripod for my new Canon Elph 330 and the MaxiGrip seemed to fit the bill. Its small, easy to carry, well made, easy to grip and very flexible. The camera is held securely in place by its detachable fastening clip that attachs to the bottom of the camera. No need to screw the tripod on & off each time its used. Also, it was one of the only mini tripods that was able to hold a camera up to two pounds. The others did not offer this feature, now I can use it with my camera and my Sony Handycam. Great! I feel that its a good product thats reasonably priced. I would suggest that you compare against the others before making your purchase, I think you'll like what you see.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Light Duty Tri Have only used it a couple of times, and it seems to do what it is designed to do. I have Nikon P530, and this is at the high end (weight)of what the MaxiGrip can handle. The wrap around feature is super, and very adaptable. The interface with camera is to be used very carefully as it just doesn't seem too strong. I keep safety wrist strap attached when using it. Getting ready to take it on Euro River Cruise, and expect it to be invaluable. Portable, light and still provides stability. Just don't put a big frame camera on it.
