You'll never miss a photo for lack of a tripod when you have the MegaGrip Flexible Tripod from Magnus. It weighs only 11.8 oz--you can carry it with you 24/7. It has flexible legs that can be bent 360° to wrap around a fence, a tree branch, a chair leg or anything else stable enough to hold a small camera and small enough to wrap the legs around. It has an 8.5" maximum height and will support a typical light-weight DSLR, point-and-shoot camera, or pocket video camera, weighing up to 3.3 lb.

The flexible leg's rubber feet give you a stable support when using the tripod traditionally, with all three feet on a flat surface. It has a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw. Using the included Allen key, individual segments of the legs can be removed for cleaning or to change the height of the tripod.

Flexible tripod has legs that can bend 360° to grip a table, chair, fence, branch, or almost anything else the legs will fit around
Included 1/4"-20 screw allows you to attach a compact DSLR, point-and-shoot camera, or small pocket video camera
Compact, lightweight (11.8 oz) design makes this a tripod you'll carry with you all the time--never miss a shot because you don't have a camera support
Sure-grip rubber feet give you a stable support when the tripod is used traditionally--three feet on a flat surface
Individual segments of the tripod legs can be removed for cleaning or to change the height

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DSLR? I'd look for something else I bought this to use with a DSLR and a point and shoot while living abroad in Europe. For the point and shoot, this thing works great. You can wrap it to anything and the legs are awesomely flexible. For the DSLR, the legs give out unless you position it just perfectly. My body and lens weigh just 3.2lbs, and this is supposedly rated for 3.3. I know I might be pushing it, but unless you want to fiddle endlessly with support for your camera before shooting, I'd look elsewhere if you're trying to buy one for a DSLR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small support for long exposure This is a nice little tripod for point and shoot cameras or anyt camera which is't that heavy or has a big lens. It is good option if you don't like to running the whole day with your big and bulky tripod in a crowded city area. And there ara some place where you are not allowed to use big tripods. Because of the leg construction it can be bend to hand rails or small tree branches and use the camera timer to make a picture about you and your family.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk The fundamentals of this tripod are actually very good. However, it's let down by poor quality materials. The legs on the tripod were far too sloppy when I received it, but removing the rubber o-rings allows you to tighten the sockets to increase the stiffness. Unfortunately, to get it to a point where the legs are suitably stiff involves overtightening the bolts which creates cracks in the plastic sockets, thus rendering the tripod useless. If they either improved the QA or used slightly better quality materials at a slightly higher price, I might try another. Or maybe I just got a bad one?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than a Gorilla! I bought this to replace my old Joby unit which literally fell apart, dumping my beloved Sony D-50 into Lake Washington. Just looking at the connections for the Magnus unit you can see that it is not going to fall apart without warning. The balls are mostly surrounded by the socket receivers, so it may get loose but won't separate. Plus they can be tightened with a small (included) alan key. So far the unit has been sturdy and reliable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from connections may get loose Works well but the connections loosen easily. On a recent trip while the tripod was clipped to the outside of my camera bag, one of the rubber feet unscrewed and fell off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for my NEX-7 Works great for macro shots or when ever you need a helping hand...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little gem Pro: small, compact, fast and easy to deploy. I enjoy using this little thing when I need a low level shot and use my shutter delay since I don't have a remote. Using it, I've obtained some awesome shots with it for only having a D-SLR for about 2 months. I use it with my Nikon D3200 with 18-55 lens to 55-200 lens.
