The 3.8-12x44 40/44 Riflescope (Matte Black) from Weaver features an aspherical lens system to virtually eliminate any aberrations at the edge of the view field. This riflescope is endowed with a Varminter reticle and has fully multicoated lenses that contribute to the brightness and contrast of the optics. An adjustable objective provides the ability to easily compensate for parallax movement between the reticle and target. The 40/44 is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. It has a 1 inch, single piece tube construction helping to increase tube strength and durability. With a comfortable 3 inch eye relief and a ¼ MOA click value for the windage and elevation turret adjustments; this is a feature-filled scope that's easy on the pocketbook.
1" single tube construction adds to the riflescopes strength and reliability
¼ MOA windage and elevation turrets click value improves accuracy and target acquisition
Fully multicoated optics: multiple layers on all air to glass surfaces for a brighter, higher-contrast image with less eyestrain
An aspherical lens system minimizes the distortion at the periphery of the field of view; creating a sharper, clearer view right out to the edge
Adjustable parallax objective provides compensation for the shooters head movement as it affects the apparent movement of the target relative to the reticle
The Varminter reticle has 4 medium weight posts morphing into fine cross hairs with a dot at the intersection of the stadia. The medium weight posts stand out well against dense brush and wooded backgrounds
