question

Is this lenses all manual (focus and iris)? Can it be used with BlackMagic 2.5k mount MFT?
Asked by: Anonymous
The BlackMagic Cinema MFT mount camera requires use of manual focus and manually adjustable aperture lenses. The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 R Lens will mount on the camera but will not allow you to adjust the aperture of the lens. The benefit of the camera using the MFT mount is the availability of adapters which will allow one to mount various manual focus/manual aperture lenses to the camera.

Can I focus by touching the LCD screen of my lumix G5, G6, & Gh2 with this lens. The kit lens that comes with the camera allows me to rack focus by simply touching the lcd screen of the Lumix. Thanks.

Yes you can, that is a feature of the camera, any micro 4/3rds lens will perform like that on these models.

question

is this lens FULLY compatible with Xiaomi Yi M1 camera in Both Stills AND Video modes?
Asked by: Ermanno P.
Unfortunately, Im not familiar with the Xiaomi Yi M1 camera. It is not a camera that B&H carries, nor have I seen one. If it has a micro four thirds mount, this lens should be compatible. But, it would be impossible to comment on the level of compatibility between an Olympus lens and a third party camera.
