The JRX-225 Passive Dual 15" Speaker Kit with Crown Power Amplifier is a B&H Kit that provides you with everything you need for powerful stereo audio reproduction, ideal for live music, music playback, and speech reinforcement applications. Each JBL JRX-225 speaker has a quasi 3-way design with a pair of 15" woofers and a 1" tweeter to provide clear audio with a wide frequency response.
Power is supplied by the included Crown Audio XLS 2002 stereo power amplifier. A BBE Sound BBE882i Sonic Maximizer allows you to apply different phase and algorithm settings to customize your audio. A pair of Speakon cables and XLR cables are also included for connecting system components.
2 x JBL JRX225 Dual 15" Two-Way Sound-Reinforcement Loudspeaker System
Suitable for live-music performances and DJ setups, the JRX225 from JBL provides dual 15" woofers, and thus, offers much in the way of low-end without muddying up the midrange of your signal, providing a solid solution if you're looking for a speaker capable of reproducing thick, lower frequencies without a subwoofer. It can handle between 500 and 1000W into 4 Ohms, and it provides SpeakON and 1/4" TS phone jacks. The JRX225 offers other features such as a rugged 19mm MDF enclosure, steel handles, and a perforated steel grille. Its high-frequency driver is protected by SonicGuard technology, while its waveguide provides coverage control, minimized distortions, and an even frequency response.
Dual JBL low-frequency drivers with a 2.5"-diameter edgewound-ribbon voice coil
Crossover design shapes frequency response, delivering coherent summation in the crossover region
"Quasi 3-Way" design provides low-end without sacrificing performance in the critical midrange; the upper woofer produces mid-frequencies and bass, while the lower woofer concentrates on bass only, thus resulting in a reduction of midrange phase cancellation
High-voltage capacitors and inductors with cores and heavy-gauge wire enable the crossover network to handle high power without saturating
High-frequency waveguide provides coverage control, reduced distortion, and smooth frequency response
The rugged, acoustically efficient enclosure is constructed from 19mm MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) to ensure durability and low-frequency performance
SonicGuard protects the high-frequency driver from excess power without interrupting performance
Non-resonant, all-steel handles
18-gauge perforated steel grille protects components from damage
BBE Sound BBE882i Sonic Maximizer
The 882i Sonic Maximizer from BBE delivers the sound-improving benefits of a Maximizer signal processor in dual mono operation. The unit is housed in a single rack space chassis with balanced XLR inputs and outputs and is designed for applications requiring low noise, high headroom and +4dBu input levels.
For each channel there is a pair of Lo Contour and Process knobs plus a five-segment LED input level meter. A single function button switches the BBE process on or off in both channels, which is useful for comparing the processed sound to the unprocessed sound.
An LED next to the function button glows green when the BBE process is on and red when the process is off. The Lo Contour controls are for adjusting the level of phase corrected low frequencies in the program material. The Process control is for adjusting the level of phase corrected high frequencies in the program material.
Applications for the unit include multi-track studios, professional and semi-pro sound reinforcement, broadcast transmission, mobile DJ systems, nightclub sound systems and cassette copying.
Two independent BBE Sonic Maximizer signal processors in a single chassis
Applies different phase and algorithms to three separate frequency bands
Variable front panel controls allow the user to adjust the amount of process desired
Process and Low Contour controls per channel
Bypass switch for comparison of processed to unprocessed signal
Balanced XLR and 1/4" inputs and outputs
Crown Audio XLS 2002 Stereo Power Amplifier (650W at 4 Ohm)
The Crown XLS 2002 Stereo Power Amplifier offers 650W at 4 Ohm in a lightweight chassis using the company's ultra-efficient DriveCore Class D amplification platform. The amplifier includes built-in DSP with a dedicated band pass filter per channel, an integrated PureBand Crossover System, and Peakx Limiters to provide maximum output while protecting your speakers.
For inputs, the rear panel includes a pair of XLR-3F connectors, 1/4" and RCA inputs for flexible connections with a selectable input sensitivity of either 1.4 Vrms or 0.775 Vrms. Outputs are provided on both SpeakOn and binding post connectors.
You can set the amplifier's sleep mode for a designated period of time without having to press a button, as well as turn off all LED indicators except for clip and thermal to reduce distractions in dark venues. A security mode can be engaged to disable menu buttons, which can be locked and unlocked by entering a combination code. Full system reset allows for factory settings to be restored and a remote power trigger allows you to turn the unit on and off.

2 x Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable - 25' (7.6 m), Black
The Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (25') is a studio-quality cable for connecting mics to mixers, preamps, audio interfaces and recorders; or to be used in any other application where XLR connectivity is required. The cable is engineered to be both quiet and durable, and is well-suited for critical recording and broadcast situations.
Studio Elite 4000 Series cables are made from 24 AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. A 98% braided outer shield makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrix XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.
98% braided shield offers protection from EMI and RFI noise.
Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.
24 AWG oxygen-free stranded copper inner core provides the best possible conductivity.
Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise.
All solder points shrink-wrapped for protection.
Neutrik XX silver connectors offer high conductivity.
