Very good quality. The counterweight makes all the difference. Less stress on the swivel joint and your mic doesn't slowly sink onto your snare drum head. A little spendy but worth it if you can afford it. If you combine this with an Atlas MS-25 it is VERY solid.

Love it!!

Built like a tank and will last for years. Highly recommended. Once you have one of these, all others will be uninteresting to you.

This is a high end boom. My wife uses it for a small music studio we have set up in our house. Originally I had purchased a light and cheap boom that barley held the Mic with out falling over. I hate to have to purchase things twice so don't make the same mistake I did and start with this boom and a good heavy base.
