25-125x88 WP Benchmark Spotting Scope is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from good value This is the second spotting scope I've bought recently. I've used both to look at a variety of things to see if I made the right purchase. The bad news is this scope is not razor sharp at 125x or even 75x and it is difficult to focus. The focussinb ring is difficult to turn making it impossible to hold the image steady while focussing. The good new is that for a modest price you get a large objective lens, respectable sharpness through the 25x-60x range that is typical for scopes of this size but this scopes power continues on to 125x where it is still acceptably sharp, plus it is waterproof and comes with a hard case and small tripod. I was looking at Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park from Lafayette, Colorado and I think I could have seen people on the summit, if there'd been any. Don't buy it if you want to look at the rings of Saturn. Do buy it if you want to take a closer look at ships on the horizon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good, but doesn't live up to the specs... It's OK. Pretty much as other reviewers have described it. It is good from 25x to 50x or so. Anything over that, forget about it. But I only plan to use it at the rifle range out to 100 yards, so it should be fine for me. I'm just wondering if I could have gotten the same performance out of a 20-60/60 scope for less money. You should wonder too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from GARBAGE I might have just as well burned the money I spent on this scope. It is impossible to focus as the tripod mount is so far to the rear making it extremely nose heavy and the focus ring is located on the front lens. Touch it and what you are trying to focus on is gone. Very foggy at 200 yrds. and impossibly foggy at 300 yrds. Practically useless over 50x.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wouldn't buy this product again Item looks very nice. It came in a hard case and also included a soft carrying case. I set the scope up on the tripod which fit very nicely. The problem began when I tried to focus the lens. You have to turn the very end, just the black ring. On first use it was so tight that it stripped out the lens from the base of the unit. The base and threads on lens are just plastic so they can't take much pressure. Even when holding the lens and turning the end to focus it is very, very tight. Since it is stripped out, I'm sure the warranty is voided so I now have a paper weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product I love this spotting scope. very clear viewing. I use this scope to look at wildlife. the only down fall is the focusing is in a weird spot on the front of the scope. would recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crisp Images The Barska 25x125x88 spotting scope provides crisp images within its range. Nice soft and hard cases ensure the scope will not get damaged in transport. While the zoom is smooth, the focus is not so smooth. Friction versus ball bearings. Not bad, just an observation. I cant wait to mount smart phone and capture the shot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value Not the clearest or the most stable. But good value for the money
