Nikon 26263B reviews

Coolpix S3100 Digital Camera (Black) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 103.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from NIKON 3100 I had a Nikon Cool Pics 220 for three years and took over two thousand photos with it. It worked well until it fell 10' of a boat's fly bridge, and it didn't feel so well after that, the cost of a camera that lives daily on the job. The Nikon 3100 is a good piece of work, compact, at good price point, works well, especially if you bother to read the manual first. I publish a blog, and I can't live without a camera that is easily carried , and performs well. I do wish it used the same battery as the 220, but that is the way of modern technology. At about $ from B&H this is an excellent choise

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This camera really delivers! I ordered this camera for my 16 year old son to use while he works at a resort in Northern Minnesota this summer. He showed me some images he shot and I was very impressed with the quality of each shot. The sharpness is truly amazing, the colors are right on and each image is perfect. The ease of use is as simple as 'point and shoot', or if the situation calls for it we can customize the settings to easily capture the perfect shot. After seeing what this camera can do for my son and how great this camera handles tough exposure situations, I think I'll get one for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product. Would byt it again. 1.- Photos from family, from landscape. For personal use 2.- It is a small camera, with the good weight to carry even in your pocket, takes good pictures. Has an excelent zoom. 3.- As for now I dont see any arent so good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed I bought this camera as a point-and-shoot to use on a trip to South America to supplement prosumer gear. I liked the small size, which saved weight and bulk when image quality was not a priority (snapshots) and made it less conspicuous when walking with expensive gear would have attracted unwanted attention. I also liked the fact that I could charge the camera through the USB port of a laptop, removing the requirement to pack yet another charger. However, I found the image quality to be mediocre, especially with higher ISO settings. Sadly, half-way into my trip the camera died with a lens error, requiring me to go back to using prosumer gear for all photography. I promptly sent the item back for a refund after returning from the trip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little camera! This is an awesome camera for someone who loves taking pics, and it is light, easy to use, and a great on-the-go camera. I bought the camera with birthday money for my 12th birthday, and I really like it. Great for a photo enthusiast. The video is pretty good too, but after you have taken a lot of video, it starts getting choppy and skips, but this may be because of the memory card.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little camera! I use this camera for everyting! We recently took it ona trip to the USS Midway and got great shots. Clear screen even in sunlight. I love the macro mode for taking pictures of my handmade jewelry to post in my online shop. Also great for food pictures when I feel like blogging. The only thing I would ask for is better image stabilization as my hands are a little shakey.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from POOR Manual access Heading to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands. Picture taking mecca. This camera is almost too small for effective use of buttons, and so light weight, impossible to hold steady. I am very petite, and even for my fingers, cumbersome. Also, having the manual only on a disc is rediculous...... have a question? Turn on your computer, download the info, and start reading. Not practicle for an expedition.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so good I would not recommend this camera. I had it for less than two years and by the end a side panel fell off. The lens would get stuck coming out of the camera and stopped functioning. One of the times it froze up was right before my daughters second Birthday. I contacted the company and had to send the camera back to them more than once. When I called them to let them know how unsatisfied with the camera they were not helpful or willing to replace the camera which was falling apart and completely unreliable.
