When I first saw this item, I knew I needed it for my overhead rigs. Luckily I used the 3/8-16 side because the 1/4-20 side broke off when I applied apparently too much pressure from a gobo head.

I have several clamps which can be used to mount various devices on structural elements. Large Manfrotto clamps use spigots like above, but seem to disappear after disuse. I have an LED spotlight I would like to attach to a balcony rail, hence this replacement.

What is the total length? Specs do not indicate total length, so would the length be approx. the same as two standard spigots end-to-end?
All of my double ended spigots are currently built into various rigs, so I can't measure them directly, but yes, they are roughly twice the length of single spigots.
