I believe I have over 80 of these albums! They are sturdy and priced right. I would never buy another!

I love the fact that the JPF-46 is slim. A special bookcase was made just to hold the many, many albums I have filled for my daughter and now my grand daughter. The albums and the page inserts are very durable. I haven't replaced one album or page in all these years. The photos are preserved exactly as they were inserted into the page pockets. I have mixed the various album colors so they display nicely. If there is a disadvantage to using these albums, it would have to be that the page fold is often reversed by a photo viewer.

I've used these photo albums for years and am so glad that Pioneer still makes them. I like that that they're more compact than some albums and expandable. I usually end up adding two refill packs before I consider it full but I know a person could add more than two. I highly recommend this album.

Photo Album holds a lot of photos as it is expandable, nicely made and decorative. I recommend it for anyone looking for a nice and practical photo album to old hard cover photos!

Decent album

I bought these albums to complete a set I started a number of years ago. Getting a little OCD, I wanted all my albums to match. Since I had several already, I purchased a bunch more of these. They look great on the shelf. You can add refills up to a certain point where they end up making the album too large. They hold 4X6 pics which is standard size but if you have a portrait style photo, i.e. vertical, then you have to keep flipping the album around to see the photo. Mixing and matching landscape with portrait styles is difficult on the viewer. Some of the plastic encasings can be of poor quality and tend to rip when inserting a photo. the album construction is very good and the leatherette cover is rather good looking. Initially, it is difficult to get some of the screws unscrewed since sometimes they are put on too tight. Overall, these albums work great for me b/c of the way they look, the amount of photos the album holds, and the ease of adding refills. For a need of an album for pictures of varying sizes (such as very old photos) I will use a different album. This album is ideal for pictures whose style is all landscape.
