The Rotolight 6" Articulated Magic Arm enables versatile mounting of just about any camera accessory you can imagine – wireless audio receivers, monitors, or (of course) lights from Rotolight or other manufacturers. As long as it weighs 8.8 lb or less and has either a shoe mount or a male or female 1/4"-20 mount, you can attach it to the Magic Arm.

The arm is an "Israeli style" articulating arm, meaning that there's a central knobby thumbscrew that, when you tighten or loosen it, secures or frees all movement of the arm. That includes the central joint and the swivel ball heads at either end.

Two fully adjustable 360° swivel ball heads
Dual 1/4"-20 screws, one at either end – plus includes a female 1/4"-20 thread adapter and a shoe adapter
Ultra-strong black anodized steel construction
Single central lock secures and frees all movement via easy-to-operate thumbscrew
8.8 lb load capacity

6" Articulated Magic Arm is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool I use this with my 7 Marshall Electronics monitor on top of my Panasonic HMC 150 and it works great! Everything adjusts with the turn of a single nob, and everything stays put when you need it to. I especially like being able to readjust the angle of my monitor on the fly and this arm makes that really easy. It's a little tricky to work with at first; make sure you play with it before you try shooting something in the field. It is one of the more expensive arms that I've seen, but it seems to be well built, so it's worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robust arm I bought this arm to hold my smallHD monitor and attach it to a Letus cage. The first thing noticed was the weight. It certainly feels solid and robust, not cheap. In playing with it, it is a simple design, easy to use, and looks professional. I was also looking for adequate weight load capacity, which this one has. I have not found any negatives yet. I am VERY pleased as I contemplated a cheaper arm and am glad I chose this one. So glad, that I got two, one wasn't needed, but I'm going to keep it anyways...just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of gear I use this magic arm with small LCD and Transvideo monitors. I use to have the little hot shoe ball mount that comes with the small LCDs, but it is terrible for that kind of setup. The Magic arm by rotolight is solid and I feel comfortable putting a $Transvideo monitor on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy accessory Great for attaching monitor, lights, or other attachments to sticks or camera rig. Works great with Induro Carbon 8x tripod with the built-in recepticles. Strong and sturdy. Allows positioning of accessory right where I want it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent! Can't beat it for the price but it's a good entrywvel dealie. It could be a lil stronger and fit in the hot shoe better but good enough

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works A little bulkier than I imagined it to be, but that girth makes the product totally functional. I use it for my small HD EVF

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is it really worth the price? It does what it's supposed to do. Not sure if it's worth the price, however.
