Maybe I've just not found the best spot for it or it's not ideally compatible with my cap but I felt the cap wasn't 100 secure. Well made and going to keep using it

The darn thing works!

This is my second Huffa lens cap clip; the first one was inadvertently left on the strap of a camera I sold to a friend. After about a week without it, I absolutely had to buy another one. It's one of those cheap little camera doo-dads that makes you wonder why every camera strap doesn't have one of these attached to it. It simply works. I've used one for several years now, often in crowded situations where I'm bumping into people all day long, and I've never lost a lens cap. It's as safe as stuffing your lens cap in your pocket, and twice as convenient.

It holds lens caps tight and they are unlikely to get loose. However I failed to secure a cap while shooting from my truck and I still haven't found the cap. Ya gotta use it every time! Keepers that fasten to the lens cap and anchor to the lens with an elastic cord retain your cap without you even thinking about it - which is nice - but they have other issues. Which type is best? This one gets my vote for those folks who have a brain. For the rest of us...jury is still out.

Doesn't Fit All Straps

I really like the idea of slipping my lens cap into a clip. It's quick, easy, and the location of the Hufa on my Rapid Strap makes the cap readily accessible while staying out of the way. Although the clip portion for the cap holds them securely, the strap portion keeps coming unthreaded. The width of the rapid strap is just narrow enough that Hufa can slide past the catches when a lens cap is removed, then the next cap put slides it back the other way and off pops the Hufa. This happens at least 50% of the time; very annoying!

I'd like to add to some of the other reviews. I found there are 3 different clips. One for smaller and one for larger lens caps on standard straps. And yet another for narrower straps like 1 for bags and many sling straps. Great little invention! Be sure you feed the strap into the back of the clip properly otherwise it could fall off your strap like a few others have noticed happening. I also like the rubber coating.

I shoot a lot of sports and I like to put my lens cap back on in between innings / races for time outs etc.. especially if it is lightly raining.. I always have issue about where to store the lens cap.. This seems to do the trick. It does want to come off the camera strap, so I still have to play with it a little, but so far I really do like it...

Good but

This cap keeper is almost good. It uses a spring to attach the keeper to the neck strap and then a spring to keep the lens cap in place. I found the lens keeper's spring wasn't as tight as I thought it should be. The keeper moved too much on the strap, for my liking. Maybe a different strap would have worked better.
