This adapter is for Nikon S Rangefinder or Zeiss Contax Rangefinder lenses with focusing helicals, not for internal mount (non-helical) 50mm rangefinder lenses and not for modern Nikon F-mount or Contax G lenses. While the adapter will physically attach a compatible lens to a full-frame Sony E-mount camera, there may be vignetting and therefore the adapter is recommended for APS-C E-mount cameras.
