  • 1Description

The Magnus DX-3320M Deluxe Photo Tripod/Monopod With 3-Way Head is a stable photo tripod made from anodized aluminum with a center column that converts to a 4-section monopod. The DX-3320M can support loads up to 3.3 lb /1.5 kg, ideal for mirrorless, 4/3, and small DSLR cameras. The three-way pan-and-tilt head has a quick release plate and a bubble level to keep your camera properly aligned to the horizon. The rapid release center column detaches to serve as an adjustable 4-section monopod. The DX-3320M tripod system weighs 3.7 lb / 1.7kg.

The 3-section leg design allows you to adjust the height of the tripod from 21.6" / 54.8cm to 58.7" / 149.2cm with the center column fully extended. The detachable monopod extends to 64.2" / 163.2cm. Foam padding on the legs protects the legs and your hands in cold weather. A mid-level spreader provides improved stability on uneven terrain. The rubber feet are ideal for working indoors and on level surfaces. The included retractable metal spikes give you maximum traction on dirt, sand, or any uneven terrain. The DX-3320M offers a full 360° pan range.

The included quick release plate features a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw. A carrying case is included for storage and transport.

    Magnus DX-3320M reviews

DX-3320M Deluxe Photo Tripod/Monopod With 3-Way Head is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and Adequate If you are looking for a cheap, low end tripod, this product is serviceable. I'm rating it 4 stars for it's quality as a cheap but serviceable tripod. The options to use it as a tripod and also a monopod are very useful. I need a lightweight, compact, and easy to carry tripod to take in the field for hunting, fishing, and other outdoor's adventures. This will not be used often and I do not have professional or commercial expectations. For $$, I think the product is great. The tilt and pan functionality is acceptable. All the features listed in the product description meet or exceed expectations for a $$tripod. I'm happy and satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad for a cheap tripod ... I got this pan and tilt head tripod to shoot mostly videos and it does a fine job. It's light weight, mostly plastic but decent construction w/ aluminum legs, rubber feet with retractable metal spikes, foam padded legs, bubble level, workable quick-release plate, and nice for the price carry bag. Lots of feature and value here. Ingenious design has the center column sliding out to form a monopod. Even the tilt and pan head is OK. The monopod has the preferred twist lock mechanism, while the rest of the tripod has lever locks, which I find to be more fragile, even on the most expensive tripods. Only thing I wish they did differently was to have the tilt head be removable from the monopod and allow attachment of a different head. As is, stock pan head is NOT removable. Otherwise, this is a very good, feature laden, inexpensive tripod.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tripod for travel i was looking for a tripod that packs well, since i'm leaving on a trip around the world. even though its pretty light and packs tight, its pretty sturdy. the center of it pulling out to become a monopod is great! i'll use the monopod feature for a lot of my gopro videos, which saved me from having to buy an extra gopro boom. for my purposes this works great. we'll see how it holds up after some time traveling, but it appears fairly durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Compatible Using this tripod for a high school A/V Tech class I was very hppy that the deck plate was compatible with our older Sunpak tripod. Due to deck plates frequently being misplaced, the ability for our tripods to be compatible is very benificial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Customer Service ... I had an issue with the 10-24 screw, which attaches the quick-release plate to the camera. (The details are unimportant.) So, I wrote a one star review. I was quickly contacted by Jeff Fuller at the distributor, Gradus Group. Jeff was E-X-T-R-E-M-E-L-Y helpful and sent a replacement quick-release plate. He went out of his way to be helpful and responsive. Amazing customer service, end of story.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light weight Tripod ! This tripod is great for my needs..My camcorder weighs 8.5 ounces so though it has no fluid head it is quite adequate..I initially only wanted a mono-pod but this has one in it so..perfect...very satisfied.. Compact..light weight..& I got it here @ B&H so what more can I ask for with customer service like theirs'?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light weight, for small cameras Bought this for my kid's little camcorder and I suppose it serves that purpose reasonably well. It's very light, folds up nicely, and is easy to use. The monopod conversion is pretty cool as well. Although the legs feel sturdy enough, the clasps and tighteners are plasticky and don't feel as if they'll last too long before getting stripped - although I could be wrong. The fluid head is ok - but not particularly fluid. It's just barely worth the money, if you're doing video with it. For a still camera, it's a better bet. If you want a decent light tripod for video work, and the smooth panning and tilting that it implies - I would recommend spending the extra money and getting a higher quality product. For a kid, or for still shooting, I suppose it's okay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tripod! I wasn't really sure what type of tripod I needed as a beginner in photography. This tripod fits all my needs. It is light weight, can be used as a tripod or a monopod which is great for on the go picture taking. Really happy with this product especially for the price.
