  • 1Description

This 32GB SDHC Extreme Class 10 UHS-I Memory Card from SanDisk features a maximum read speed of 45 MB/s along with a maximum write speed of up to 45 MB/s. This card has minimum transfer speeds of 10 MB/s. Such speeds enable smooth continuous burst shooting, Full HD video capture, and card-to-computer transfers. Additionally, the card is built to withstand up to 72 hr in 3.3' of salt or fresh water, and is also shockproof and immune to X-rays. A built-in write-protect switch prevents data from being accidentally modified, overwritten or deleted, while its Advanced Error Correction Code engine reduces the risk of errors during data storage and retrieval, and prevents potential data corruption.

One year of downloadable RescuePRO media recovery software allows you to restore images that have been accidentally deleted. Additionally, you can write on the card's blank label for easy identification and organization, and you can store and protect the card in the supplied jewel case. Your investment is backed by a limited lifetime warranty (30-years in Germany, Canada, and regions that do not recognize lifetime warranties).

    SanDisk 32GB reviews

32GB Extreme UHS-I SDHC Memory Card (Class 10) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 889.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speed and Size! I have never needed SD cards in anything other than Point and shoot cameras, now I need them For a Nikon D600 so I got the extreme like i do with my CF cards. I am sure some day it will happen to be but so far I have never had a SanDisk card fail on me, so when it came time for SD cards I went with what I know works. The D600 shoots a large Raw file so size was important, as is speed to transfer them out of the cameras buffer for continuous shooting. I am also happy to have the capacity for some video shooting as well. Cons these tiny little suckers are hard to keep track of, and I am having a hard time finding a good Case to keep them all in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great card from SanDisk My SanDisk cards are my favorite storage media for my Canon 70D DSLR. This 'Extreme' 32GB Class 10 UHS-1 does not disappoint. It gets as close or closer than any of my many other cards to a 45MB/s read speed. Transferring at least 16Gb of stored information from the card to my computer through a USB-3 connection gives me a minimum of 43MB/s. Smaller amounts of data can give me up to 60MB/s or more. Writing speed in my camera has never been a problem - I haven't measured the speed, but it can keep up indefinitely with the 7 fps that the camera is rated for. I also trust SanDisk as a company. B&H runs very good sales on these cards from time to time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for HDSLR Video I own 3 of these cards and use them in my Canon 60D for recording live events. I tried to use other Class 10 32GB cards by Lexar and Samsung, and they both would occasionally stop recording. Sometimes after 2 seconds sometimes after 2 minutes. With the SanDisk I have never had this problem. This card by far offers the best Size/Speed/Consistency/Cost out there. The dust, shock and x-ray protection is also very comforting to know. I will never spend money on any other brand of SDHC again. SanDisk For The Win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for HD video I use it on my Canon T2i for video. I had a Transcend 32gb class 10 before, but that one sometimes can't catch up with HD video. To ensure video recording without interuption, I have to format it everytime before shooting, and buffering bars always show up on screen. But this Sandisk card does much better, I can even take photos when shooting video without any buffering bars show up on screen. I don't need to format card unless I am going for some serious and important shots, just for safe. And the Trenscend becomes my back-up card and stays in the bottom of my camera bag. And it works well with Magic Lantern plug-in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faster writes to clear camera buffer In continuous shoot mode my D5200 can take 6 RAW+fine shots. With the 30MB/s card it would require 21 seconds to complete writes to the card. With this SanDisk Extreme rated at 45MB/s the same amount of data wrote in only 6 seconds. This makes a huge difference when I'm shooting fast moving subjects like birds or sports activities. I can't afford to be waiting for the buffer to clear before taking another shot. This card is definitely worth the additional dollars in cost to gain that performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SanDisk memory cards are flawless! I have been extremely satisfied with SanDisk memory cards. I've experimented with different capacities (8GB, 16GB, 32GB) as well as different speeds (45MB/s and 92MB/s). I do not see an appreciable difference between 45MB/s and 92MB/s with my camera and for my needs, so I settled on 45MB/s. Since I store photographs in RAW, the 32GB capacity is just right, with ample storage if I chose to capture a short film. Regardless of the size and speed you chose, you can not go wrong with SanDisk -- I have never had an issue with any of their cards, while I can not say the same for their competitors. SanDisk cards are flawless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Class 10 +++ This card is fast and is great when you like to shoot HD video and take stills at the same time. I recently purchased other brand class 10 cards for use with my Canon 60D. They were fast enough to record video usually, but there were occasions when the recording would stop unexpectedly and were not fast enough to keep recording video while taking RAW stills at the same time. I've not had any of those problems with this card. It lets me record video and shoot several raw images and I never see the buffer icon appear. That pretty much is all you can ask for in an SD card. This card is also listed as being waterproof per the packaging. That is nice to know should I ever leave it in my pocket and send it thought the washer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fast card for fast cameras Slower cards are weak links & bog your camera down, you can miss shots ( sports or children scampering about). That is why this card is great - it allows newer fast cameras to clear their buffers for rapid continuous shooting & also allows smooth uninterrupted video recording. The 32GB size allows you plenty of room for uninterrupted videotaping & plenty of room for stills. The previous version of this card worked well at 30mb/sec but this one surpasses the old with speeds of 45mb/sec thus exceeding the requirements of any high end electronic device today. I have been using SanDisk for years with no problems (knock on wood). I'm using these in my Canon T2i & 60D right now.
