    Vanguard VS-82 reviews

    VS-82 2-Section Table-Top Tripod with 2-Way Pan Head is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a table top tripod - works great Make no mistake, this is a table top tripod, not one to use in place of a normal tripod. As such, it works perfectly, very sturdy. I purchased this model over others for two reasons, it has custom feet that are designed to hold it firmly in place on a flat surface. None of the other table top tripods have this feature. Also, from the images on line it looked to have a fairly low minimum height, but nowhere could I find that dimension listed. Now that I have it I can report that the minimum height is 7.5 - pretty good, works for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little tripod Nice little tripod, definitely can bear some weight, I put a D7000 with a battery camera pack and a 70-300mm lens on it and it held fine. I will mount a 7 monitor on it when I buy one and I can see that it will still have no problem holding it also. No way will it hold a vertical position though (it will tip over), you would have to find something that would allow the camera to be switched to vertical keeping the weight over the tripod head. You are getting more than your money's worth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little tripod for hiking mountain. Lightweight, sturdy, easy to put I a backpack on mountain trails. Only drawback is that camera mounts directly to tripod, no plate. This is a bit awkward

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and nice Cheapod I use this tripod for travel and quick set ups. It's small, cheap and very stable. You can have great control over the pan head. You miss some of the features of more advanced models (like more axis or quick release), but as a first tripod you can be sure this is a good option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VS-82 2-Section Table-Top Tripod So far so good. I got this for doing some macro work and its has proven to work well. It supports my 5D with a heavy lens probably close to 5 pounds. Even at a steep vertical angle it hols up very well. Light and compact, sturdy build. Only bummer is the baseplate cannot be removed so you have to keep the camera attached at all times unless unscrewed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Small Tripod! I bought this (table/desk-top) tripod to hold a spotting scope for checking 100 yard targets. It is very stable & has VERY smooth, precise controls.I am EXTREMELY happy with this purchase & VERY glad I chose this tripod!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little tripod Product is super portable and very stable. I have it on a Canon T2i with a battery grip and a Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. Overall very happy with it. The value you receive from this is amazing. This is awesome for videos (remember to take off image stablization or equivalent). Note to all that it cannot turn on its side to take portrait pictures/videos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome table top tripod For the price that I paid, this tripod is really sturdy. The best part about this tripod is that the tripod is really sturdy. The other thing I noticed is that the head doesn’t sag when putting my camera on it. I use this tripod for vlogging. If you’re looking for a small tripod, go with this one.
