The Multi-Function Ball Head with Removable Bottom Shoe Mount, with Umbrella Mount from Vello features a 1/4"-20 threaded male post on top, as well as a 3/8" umbrella socket with a locking knob. This allows the threaded flash and inserted 3/8" umbrella (up to 25" size) to move together atop the ball head.
It can be mounted directly to a DSLR or camcorder's shoe mount, and allows for the attachment of a full array of video accessories. Used to attach monitors or small lights to your camera while shooting video, this ball head has a single locking knob for fast and safe operation, and is easily removable. Alternatively, this head can also be used directly on a light stand or bracket in combination with an umbrella.
A groove for the ball head allows up to 90° of vertical articulation with a single adjustment knob for safe and easy operation. The 3/8" thread on the bottom, with a supplied 1/4"-20 bushing, will fit most light stands.
