The black, small-sized ACPRO1000 PRO Series DSLR Camera Case from Ape Case is an effective combination of reliability, functionality, and price. This water-resistant nylon bag is your basic shoulder bag with all the features you need to get the job done without paying a hefty price. It is built to hold one to two DSLRs (one with lens attached), a couple of lenses, or your camcorder.

The tough nylon exterior is complimented by a smooth-lined interior. Padded, movable dividers permit you to arrange your PRO bag to accommodate whatever gear you need that day. The dividers are bright yellow, making them easy to see in marginal light—let's say, if you're shooting in a dark club or concert. It's a clever addition to a shooting bag that's designed to make your life easier in the field.

Within the bag there are 15 pockets and compartments—more than enough to carry lenses and accessories like batteries, cables, pens, filters, and cleaning cloths, plus your cell phone or MP3 player. A zippered exterior accessory pocket keeps all the small stuff together, while an internal mesh pocket serves the same purpose for quick-grab items. Working in the field can build up a thirst, so Ape Case has included a side pullout water bottle pocket. Zippers are supplied for rapid access to the main compartment and accessory pockets, while a front snap buckle makes sure the bag stays shut.

The PRO Series Case can be carried with its removable, adjustable, and wide shoulder strap with contoured shoulder pad, or by the ribbed top grab handle. An ID holder slot is located on the inside of the front flap for your name or business card. All this is backed by Ape's limited lifetime warranty against defects.

ACPRO1000 PRO Series DSLR Camera Case (Small, Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tight squeeze, but safe This case does the job but is not as roomy as is claimed. My T3i with 55-250mm lens attached has to be turned on its side to fit, and with the 18-55mm lens in one of the smaller rear compartments, it is a tight fit. I would worry about cosmetic wear on the camera body if I keep this case too long. Having said that, there are supports for the longer lens. On the plus side, the padding is firm and would protect the camera in everyday situations. It would also provide adequate protection if you were caught in a brief downpour, though it would probably pay to remove the camera as soon as you could. In summary, I'd say that it gives what I paid for and for someone on a budget it's not a bad buy. It will get the ultimate test when I take my next airplane flight - how easily will it fit under the seat?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, snug case This is a great case for an amateur photographer or videographer. It provides enough space for my 550D, my 18-55mm kit lens, my 50mm lens, my SD cards, cables, extra batteries, and other necessities and I still have pockets free. It could be a little bigger, but it's great for what I need. I am even able to lay a rode mic on top of everything and close the bag easily. As I've said, I wish there was a little more space, but you get what you pay for. I'm happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made a great choice The bag has a flexible interior and arrangement is only limited by your imagination. I am extrememly pleased with my choice. The size is exactally what I need and still has plenty of room for the 2 new lenses I want. I no longer have to take something out to get to the other thing I need! I like the shoulder strap (and no plastic hooks or eye's, they are metal), zippers work smoothly, outside pockets are a great size. The best thing is the yellow interior color, so much easier to find the black everything else lol. So looking forward to having it on my trip next month. I am pretty fussy about having things organized and my new Ape Case allows me to do just that. It is the best birthday gift I have given me in a long time! The waterproof exterior, excellent padding, rubber footed bag is everything I was looking for. One othe big plus is the fabric used on the back of the case does not pill or snag the fabric on my clothing. The over all quality of the Ape Case exceeded my expectations and the price was right in line with my budget. The biggest problem I had was deciding on size, not so big that wt would be an issue, but enough room to accomodate the photography equipment I have (with room to grow). ACPRO1000 Digital SLR Camera Case from Ape Case has filled the bill. I have and would again recommended Ape Case to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice case for a micro 4/3 system I bought this case for my Olympus OM-D E-M5. I was looking for a small case that would hold the camera, two or three additional lenses, an optional flash, and associated gear. When the case arrived it was actually a bit larger than what I expected. The case comes with a large assortment of dividers that can be arranged to fit ones camera gear. There's one long divider that fits lengthwise in the case to which the other dividers attach. I think the case would be even more versatile if a couple of additional dividers were provided to go front to back, which could be used in lieu long lengthwise one. I was able to arrange the case to hold the camera with lens, with more room left than what I'm planning to need. There's also a lot of useful storage compartments included for smaller accessories. This case is well padded, the quality is excellent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice bag, but.. Bought this bag for my DSLP and didnt notice that you could only fit the camera in the bag without a lens on it. this is pretty annoying, and i havent found a way to swithc the compartments around to make it fit. Otherwise its a nice bag, with plenty of padding and can fit a DSLR plus 3 lenses and a external flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Enough, But Small Enough I've been looking for a case that's large enough for my 7D with 70-300 lens attached laying down, instead of vertically, and this works perfectly. I can also carry the 7D with a 35 or 50mm lens attached, and either an 18-135, or 24-70 if something longer is needed. The top opening provides a good overlap of the sides to keep out dirt, and moisture before it zips, or if you want to have quick access the single 'pinch' buckle. The interior is Ape Case yellow which makes it easy to see what's inside, i.e. a black lens cap, or cleaning cloth. The front pocket is substantial, and easily accommodates an extra battery, memory, filters, and cleaning supplies. It zips closed, but is also covered by the case's top flap that buckles. So, it's big enough to carry what I need for a planned outing, but small enough that it doesn't get in my way when shooting, and has a small footprint when stored.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag Bag is very sturdy! I love the fact that you can arrange the compartments to suit your taste and needs. The Velcro dividers are a cinch! The Shoulder strap has a unique design that fits over my shoulder comfortably. There are more than enough pockets for all your camera gear & phones. I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag! I am an amateur photographer and bought this bag for my new Nikon D7000. I love it! My camera feels very secure and safe with the padding, and I love the yellow inside. I originally purchased the larger bag and it was too big for my every day use. The 1000 is perfect for what I need!
