The black ACPRO1600 Digital SLR/Laptop Travel Case from Ape Case is a briefcase-styled, slim profile bag designed to hold a host of equipment in safety and convenience. The interior can handle your DSLR with 2-3 lenses plus your 17.0" (43.2 cm) laptop stored in its own slip-in compartment. There's also plenty of room for accessories in the side pockets and a special inside touch fastened pocket located on the rear face of the top flap. The front zippered pocket will accommodate everything from batteries to cables and memory cards to pens and business cards.

The bag opens across the top using its dual zippers. Once opened, the entire interior of the bag is exposed for easy access to your gear. The yellow interior helps view the contents when you're in low light venues. The four dividers are padded and configurable.

The padded shoulder strap and dual top carry handles give you two options for portability. The bag is made slim to help you while navigating through crowded airports and hallways. Its lifetime warranty against defects speaks for the quality and confidence that Ape puts into this bag.

ACPRO1600 Digital SLR/Laptop Travel Case (Black) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Case! I bought this case for my MacBook Pro and D7000/lenses. But it is so well-designed, that additionally, I can easily include 2 bodies, 3 lenses, Sony HandyCam, Zoom recorder, several extra batteries, adaptors, cables and other accessories. It is highly configurable and all the pouches and compartments are highly usable. I also love the ergonomic shoulder strap and overall shape/size. I am a huge fan!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good roomy Case Well padded, I was able to fit in Canon 5D with 24-70L attached (Hood in storage posittion) 18-50 lens, 70-200L lens with hood. Speedlight 600, batery pack, gary fong cloud. Buch of other small stuff, but that is about as much as the bag can take. Happy with it. I wish I could get rid of the laptop space, but that is not an option. The yellow inside is great. Helps you see everything that is in. I looked at serveral options. The more roomier, better cases ran upwards of $200. This was the best price/utility ratio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for! I have been around and around looking for a case which just opened up into a big compartment. Ape Case has not only given me that, but made it easy to see inside as well! By removing all the dividers, I am able to put in all my equipment (which already has protective casing) and go where I want to with a minimum of fuss. The across-the-body shoulder strap is very comfortable and the bag fits upright in the overhead bins on a 737 and an MD-80...what's not to love???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for cameras/laptop When I first got this bag, I felt that the front ot back depth was too short(about 6 inches not including the laptop section). But I soon learned that cameras with lenses attached go in standing up not laying down since it's so tall. My Pentax 645 with huge 80-160mm zoom attached fits in standing up-wow! And plenty of room for more gear. There are small dividers that go horizontally for two level spacing. It can be kinda hard to get to what's on the bottom level, but that allows you to carry even more lenses. The yellow inside is nice making it easy to find small items in there. There are 2 large flat pockets for papers and owner's manuals-I really like that. There's a zippered pocket on one side that can hold a small-medium sized lens. And a mesh pocket on the other side to hold a water bottle or two-great for summer. The bag comes with a nice padded strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Multiple Cameras, too LOVE this bag. Use to carry GH4, GH5 with lenses attached, 2 extra lenses, laptop, batteries, Tascam audio recorder, microphones. This is a steal for the $. Very durable bag with compartments for everything. When you're not carrying a laptop, the bag widens up to fit wider cameras like DSLRs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Sweet Spot between price, versatility, and quality After an exhaustive search for a camera case that would hold more accessories than the bags I already own, I decided against some really expensive bags since I don't need the extra weight and protection that they offer. I bought the ACPRO1600 primarily for my DSLR setup, but found it had enough room to carry my laptop (13 MBP), chargers, power supplies and paperwork as well. And I'm still not using all of the many pockets on this thing. I gave it 5 stars primarily because the price is so reasonable, but there is room for improvement: A few things I DON'T LIKE about the bag include: There should be grab handles at the ends so it's easier to pull from a shelf The small interior pockets in the main front compartment look cheap, and I wonder if they'll last as long as the rest of the bag External mesh net pockets have limited value for me: they're too lightweight to endure any significant use Accessing lower interior compartments with velcro is noisy and I'd prefer a quieter solution when I'm in a meeting or quiet gathering Zippers on front compartment do not go down far enough to allow the flap to lay flat-- they stop just an inch short! On the plus side there's a lot to love: Overall appearance is professional without screaming I'm full of photo equipment, please steal me! A pro photographer and self-described connoisseur of equipment bags I know loves the rectangular shape and overall appearance of this one The included shoulder strap was not mentioned in the description, but it's very nice quality, padded, and adjustable: I use it all the time My Nikon D5300 fits just fine (although I've heard some larger-bodied cameras have a problem) even when I leave a 55-200 DX lens mounted. LOTS of discrete storage is great for all of the little accessories I have to carry, and the main compartment has a very nice large opening Can replace my previous photo bag AND backpack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I prefer this over 2 Manfrotto backpacks I purchased this Ape Case 1600 and 2 Manfrotto Backpacks (Advanced Tri Backpack Large and Advanced Active 1). All three are in the same price range and can accommodate up to a 15 laptop, which was one of my main selling points. I thought I was going to like the Ape Case 1600 the least, but ended up liking it the most. You can pack a lot of gear into this case depending on what you have and how you pack it. I have 2 Panasonic GH4 camera bodies (one with a Varavon cage), 3 Rokinon Cine lenses, SmallHD DP4 & DP6 monitors, Zoom H4N audio recorder, Rode NTG2 shotgun mic and my 15 Macbook Pro Retina. There are some of the lower compartments that are not used yet where I may pack my follow focus or cheese/quick release plates (and if I don't need my laptop on a shoot I can pack several 15mm rods of different lengths in that compartment. In the outer pockets I have 12 camera batteries, 2 chargers, Pelican memory card case and other misc cables and small items. Everything is very secure thanks to the thick padded walls and dividers. You can customize the dividers fairly easily and they really add a lot of safety and support to your sensitive gear. It all zips up nicely with the dual zipper pull handle, and is easy to carry by hand or over your shoulder. Thanks to the slim depth and long length shape of the case it fits snugly to your body so you're not hitting people or doorways with your bag. I didn't think I would like the yellow vinyl-like interior of the Ape 1600, but I actually ended up preferring it better than the Manfrotto's soft gray/red interior linings. The yellow really helps with visibility of small parts and the vinyl lines the walls very tightly and doesn't get snagged on things.. The exterior nylon is high quality and looks like it will last a long time. I am very satisfied with this case and even though they were great too, I ended up returning the 2 Manfrotto backpacks because the Ape case impressed me so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Qflash Two of the older, bigger Q flashes fit nicely in the compartments. Third compartment for cords and such. The laptop area holds three Turbo batteries nicely. Great bag, well constructed. The zippers don't feel cheap when zipping, the sides are strong enough that they don't feel like they will collapse in time, the fabric is nice and not cheap feeling. Quick access via the top load. No need to move other panels or flaps out of the way to get to your gear. Great case for camera outfit or general gear.
