Mojo DX I/O & Monitoring Hardware from Avid is an input/output and monitoring solution that enjoys tight integration with your host computer's CPU and GPU, thanks to the Avid Intelligent Architecture that's featured in Media Composer, Symphony, and NewsCutter software programs. The integration of Mojo DX with your computer hardware creates a high-bandwidth, high-performance effects engine that optimizes CPU and GPU performance for HD video.
Mojo DX connects to your computer via PCIe, and a PCIe host card and PCIe connection cable are included. The device offers HD/SD-SDI input and output, as well as analog & digital audio I/O and an HDMI output port for monitoring. It features an RS-422 input for machine control, word clock output, and a BNC input for either blackburst or tri-level reference sync, helping you integrate the device with the facility's broader video system.
The I/O hardware features onboard support for thin raster, which means Mojo DX shoulders the burden of stretching anamorphic footage (e.g., 1440 x 1080 frames) so your host computer's resources are free for other tasks.
